THREE HOPE PROMISES IRRESPECTIVE OF YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES.

Bedridden again today. Maybe an hour or two of sleep last night. The pain is down, but not comfortable enough to try to navigate the stairs, it was a tough night, “But God…” sometime during the night I was reminded of these promises of Hope”, so I scribbled down some thoughts today that I hope will encourage you, strengthen your faith and cause you to thank Him that you are not alone or on your own to try to work out this Christian life. You are neither without POWER or PERSPECTIVE, as God has provided us with the Spirit of God to empower us to the end we may exalt God, and He has given His Word to inform us and transform us-{Read Philippians 2:13; Romans 12;2}.
 
And also my desire is that you may be encouraged to hide these verses in your heart or somewhere mark them down so that you can turn to a friend who perhaps in need could do with some encouragement and in need of Hope…. and you can help them. So may God help us to equip us to help OTHERS for Jesus’ sake!-{ Read and apply 2 Cor 4;5}
 
Hope is such a beautiful  Biblical word. It speaks of the confident expectation of God fulfilling His promises.

When used in Scripture it speaks of an absence of doubt.  It is not a “wish so” with no assurance but it is the assurance of God fulfilling all of His promises. The confident expectation in Him who is the God of Hope-{Rom 15:13}. who imparts Hope through The Scriptures;-{Romans 15:4} by the Spirit of God-{Romans 15:13} and through our LORD Jesus Christ who is our Hope!-{1 Timothy 1:1}.

So, with that in mind… let us consider THREE HOPE VERSES for you to hide in your heart so that the Holy Spirit can recall to your mind as needed to combat the evil one’s arrows of despair, and discouragement to strengthen your faith with assurance from God Himself through His Word, who has gifted you the Holy Spirit to empower you in life’s trials, temptations, to follow Him.-{Read Phil 2:13}. You are not alone, the Holy Spirit lives in you as a follower of Christ. He has been gifted to you to empower you to live the Christian life.   Also look to hide these verses in your heart, or write them in your Bible or somewhere you can show someone else who needs the encouragement of the HOPE they have “In Christ” at their disposal. Think of OTHERS  as Paul teaches us in Philippians 2:3-5. Look to strengthen your brothers and sisters also with these THREE VERSES OF HOPE!

 

1.- POWER AND PROMISES- TO LIVE A GODLY LIFE

“By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. And because of His glory and excellence, He has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share His divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.”- {2 Peter 1:3-4 nlt}

2.- PROVISION NOT TO YIELD TO TEMPTATION;

“The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you the way out so that you can endure.”-{1 Cor 10:13},

Note the PATTERN… for how to deal with each and every specific temptation you face.

  • Note “THE”… the temptation is specific so too is “THE” Way of escape that God ALWAYS Provides so that you need not sin against Him!
  • Note, you are not the only one going through this temptation, though the evil one lies to you and says you are.
  • Note God is not inactive but active. He is faithful, reliable, and trustworthy and will never allow you to be in such a place that the only way out is to sin against Him! He always provides “THE  Way of escape” so as not to have to sin!

3. PERSPECTIVE IN YOUR TROUBLES,

“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters; “-{Romans 8:28-29}

THREE Beautiful PROMISES OF HOPE FOR YOU… TO LIVE A GODLY LIFE… WHEN TEMPTED, you do not have to yield to it and sin! FOR SIN IS NO LONGER YOUR MASTER- CHRIST IS, WHO BROKE THE POWER OF SIN AS A RULING FORCE IN YOUR LIFE! v to sin, God always provides “the” specific way of escape from “the” specific temptation!.. AND IN ALL OF LIFE’S DIFFICULTIES, PERPLEXITIES… YOU HAVE HOPE FROM GOD’S WORD!

Not the “Hope” of uncertainty, but of the certainty of God fulfilling His good promises to you as you apply by faith in Him, depending upon the Holy Spirit who works “IN YOU”- for “…HIS GOOD PLEASURE”-{Read Phil 1:6; 2:13}

  1. HOPE FOR GODLY LIVING –{2 Peter 1:3-4}

  2. HOPE NOT TO SIN IN YOUR TEMPTATION –{1 Cor 10:13}

  3. HOPE THAT ALL THINGS WILL WORK OUT FOR GOOD.-{ Romans 8:28}
