Life with all its challenges, conflicts, difficulties and times like the roaring sea that can envelop a believer seeking to drag down into despair and they need REST of heart and mind. They need PEACE that surpasses all understanding-And what glorious HOPE, REST for the soul in knowing that God provides it!“And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].”-{Philippians 4;6 amplified bible}
They need HOPE. That confident assurance that God will fulfill all His promises and bring forth “good,” God’s provision and promise fulfilled –“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you will abound in hope and overflow with confidence in His promises.”-{Romans 15:13 Amplified Bible}
They need their spiritual “equilibrium” brought into place. So, we can pray for them or at times it may be us who need to remind ourselves of God and His Word and provision for us. So here are a few thoughts I hope will encourage you… and if you are praying for someone, perhaps these may help to guide you in praying that the Holy Spirit would remind them of Truth and the LOVING Heavenly Father, that in their struggles they are not alone, there is Hope, found in Him… Let’s pray for them… that they may experience His REST in exchange for the turmoil, and fiery darts of the evil one…

LORD I THANK You that by Your Grace, empowered by Your Holy Spirit I can REST In Your Sovereignty, REST In Your Sufficiency, Rest in Your Son, Rest in YOUR Scriptures and Reach out to others to do likewise! Thank You.
THANK You LORD I can REJOICE in Your Sovereignty, Sufficiency, Son, Scriptures and find REST and Hope in tough and difficult times. THANK YOU LORD!
