Forgiveness Is Final-{Hebrews 8:12, Colossians 2:13-14}

FORGIVENESS IS FINAL!
“For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”-{Heb 8:12} It is not that God has “amnesia” and cannot remember, but it means He does not hold your sin against you as He has held them against His Son, once and for all. “…He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; He has taken it away, nailing it to the cross.”-{Col 2:13-14}. How Many of your sins has He forgiven? “ALL”… He “Canceled” the word mean “erased.” In olden times a poor scribe would write on a parchment and since the ink had no acid in it, the ink lay on top of the surface, if he wanted to write something new, he took a damp cloth and wiped the ink off the surface and erased it. it was gone no trace. Jesus did this. How? “…He has taken it away, nailing it to the cross…. ” Nailing the IOU against us on the cross! If God does not hold your sin against you why do you live as though He does? How does that honor His sacrifice? Live as He declares… Forgiven!
