Really, really sick, but had a laugh this morning with my wife… many many years ago I went to a hospital to visit a friend and a nurse told me they had “expired” seemed strange way of saying they had died, “expired,” like an old carton of milk, that had gone by its “expiration date!”…. my wife reminded me of years later when she took me to hospital and they put me in a room, she went off to do something and when she walked back into the room, the bed was made up, I wasn’t there and she got a shock, so she asked a nurse , “has he expired, like a carton of milk?” She said it was the only thing she could think of to ask if I had died… the nurse told her they had moved me to another room! We had a good laugh together as she recalled the story to me, in the midst of chronic pain and illness , laughter is not always present but when it shows up, it sure does a body good, “laughter is good medicine for the soul” . Couldn’t finish iv treatments and sick in bed for days since, very, very weak and little energy, this disease is certainly painful just as Dr.s said, it would be…debilitating…. but I am still here… haven’t “expired” yet

Hope you have a great day

Enjoy your day!
