“In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.”-(1 Thess 5:18)
God has a revealed will for us in His Word. It’s not a secret,or hard to find as though He is playing “Hide and seek” with us. But in clear sight in His Word, and one part of His will for us is revealed in this verse that the followers of the LORD Jesus Christ be… a thankful people… “In everything GIVE THANKS For This IS the will of God for you in Christ Jesus,” The will of God is we be thankful!
CONSIDER
1.- GIVING CONTINUAL THANKS TO GOD … “THIS IS THE WILL OF GOD.” -{1 Thess 5:18}
2.- GIVING THANKS TO GOD…GLORIFIES GOD – {Luke 17:15-18 NASB}
3.- GIVING THANKS TO GOD…IS EXPRESSING LOVE TO GOD. -{John 14:21}
4.- GIVING CONTINUAL THANKS TO GOD…IS AN EVIDENCE OF SPIRITUAL GROWTH – { Col 1:9, 12}
5.- GIVING CONTINUAL THANKS TO GOD…ENABLES US TO STAY ALERT IN PRAYER.-(Col 4:2)
KNOW when you give thanks to God the above Five are taking place in your life.
You are Doing the will of God, Glorifying God, Expressing love to God, as you obey His command, an evidence you are growing spiritually and enables you to stay spiritually alert so as to be devoted to prayer.

2.- Allow these Five truths to Motivate you in Giving thanks
3. – Give Thanks to God
4.– Encourage others to do so and be able to share the5 Benefits, reasons to do the will of God and Give Him Thanks!
