LORD help me Today To,,,
- LOVE You with all my heart, mind, soul and strength. – “And He said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’- {Matt 22:37}
- LEAN NOT – to my own understanding.-“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight {Prov 3:5-6}
- LAY ASIDE – Those things and sins that entangle me. – “ Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of [a]witnesses [who by faith have testified to the truth of God’s absolute faithfulness], stripping off every unnecessary weight and the sin which so easily andcleverly entangles us, let us run with endurance and active persistence the race that is set before us,”- {Heb 12:1}
- LOOK AWAY TO JESUS– [looking away from all that will distract us and] focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith [the first incentive for our belief and the One who brings our faith to maturity], who for the joy [of accomplishing the goal] set before Him endured the cross, disregarding the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God [revealing His deity, His authority, and the completion of His work]. Just consider and meditate on Him who endured from sinners such bitter hostility against Himself [consider it all in comparison with your trials], so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. “-{Heb 12:2-3 -Amplified Bible}
PRAYING FOR OTHERS,
Such as “LORD, I PRAY FOR_{put in person’s name}_____ that they would LOVE You with all their heart, LEAN not to their own understanding, trusting You, LAYING ASIDE those things that would hinder, entangle them, and CONTINUALLY LOOK AWAY to Jesus!
