GOD HAS NOT ABANDONED YOU;

Suffering is not always an indication of God’s displeasure, as the Book of Job teaches.

Job’s great sorrow and grief over his perception of God’s distance, absence and teaches of Great Comfort For The Soul from the Book of Job 23: 8-10

Though he could not see, sense, or trace God, he knew God was working, and that He knew him and his ways. He was not unseen, unknown, hid from God, but God was active and involved even in his struggles and great suffering!

“I go east, but He is not there.

I go west, but I cannot find Him.

I do not see him in the north, for He is hidden.

I look to the south, but He is concealed.

“But He knows where I am going.

And when He tests me, I will come out as pure as gold.”-{Job 23: 8-10}.

Job’s confidence in the LORD that even his great suffering would work out for good. There was a limit to his suffering, there was a goal in his suffering, “I will come out as pure gold” Like gold that is refined, dross burned off, so too his suffering would serve for a great purpose, for his suffering was in God’s hands.

* God is present with you and not indifferent to your suffering, He is working, whether you see it, sense it. For you are the apple of His eye!
