In the midst of troubles and trials be assured that God works “all things” – including the very “thing,”-hardship, hurt, difficulty you are going through for “good” to those who love Him and are the called according to His purpose. Rest in His Sovereignty, rest in His promise to do what He promises for you.-
REMIND YOURSELF…
1.-God IS good.-(Read Ps 100:5).
2.-God DOES good. -(Read Ps 119:68).
3.- God WORKS -“ God causes ALL things to WORK together for good to those who love Him and are the called according to His purpose.”-(Rom 8:28-29)
APPLICATION;
1. –THANK HIM;
“GIVE THANKS to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.”-(Psalm 118:1)
2. – TRUST HIM;
“The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knoweth them that TRUST in Him” (Nahum 1:7).
3. – TASTE AND EXPERIENCE;
“TASTE and see that the LORD is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!”-(Ps 34:8)
“This call to “taste” implies that God’s goodness is not just to be known intellectually but experienced personally. …”-(study bible) Draw close to God Draw from Him all His provisions for you.
Thank, Trust, Taste the God who IS, DOES, who WORKS, all things together for “good” to all those who love Him- and that includes you!
