Great in Power,…Praise Him!
“Great is our Lord and mighty in power;” -{Psalm 145:5}
Note the difference from the way “LORD” is all capped in Psalm 145:1 and verse 5 where it is spelled differently, “Lord,” The difference is the first spelling is the Hebrew word “Yahwah” the self existent One, {Read Exodus 3:14}, the second is born out of the people afraid to take the LORD’S name in vain substituted it with the second “Lord” which is the Hebrew word “Adonai” which speaks of Owner, Master. And we see that the Lord has Absolute Power! He is GREAT…and His POWER is GREAT! He is abounding in strength, power. He has absolute Power! Consider Him and some manifestations of His power…
GOD’S POWER IS ABSOLUTE; “Once God has spoken; Twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God;” -{Psalm 62:11}.

1.- CREATIVE POWER; “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.”-{Romans 1:20}
2. – DELIVERING POWER; ” Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the sea so that the waters may flow back over the Egyptians and their chariots and horsemen.” Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and at daybreak the sea went back to its place. The Egyptians were fleeing toward it, and the Lord swept them into the sea. The water flowed back and covered the chariots and horsemen—the entire army of Pharaoh that had followed the Israelites into the sea. Not one of them survived. But the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left. That day the Lord saved Israel from the hands of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians lying dead on the shore. And when the Israelites saw the mighty hand of the Lord displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord and put their trust in him and in Moses his servant.”-{Exodus 14:26-31}.
3. – REIGNING POWER; “He has brought down rulers from their thrones but has lifted up the humble. “-{Luke 1:52}. ” I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades. “-{Revelation 1:18}
4. -SAVING POWER; “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes…”-{Romans 1:16}
5. – FORGIVING POWER – “For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”-{Colossians 1:13-14}
6. – INDWELLING POWER– “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, ” -{Ephesians 3:20}
7. – POWER TO CHANGE US – “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him.” -{Phil 2:13 nlt}
8. – SUSTAINING POWER; ” Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you; He will never permit the righteous to be moved (Psalm 55:22}. “That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.” -{1 Cor 2:5}”
9. – RESURRECTION POWER; ” Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us,” -{1 Cor 6:14}.
