1 Peter 1:2-9 has been a great source of comfort to meditate upon, ” In this you greatly rejoice…”- {V6}..and to seek to meditate upon different aspects, as the mind must go somewhere and the fight at times to Set the mind on things above, “But God…” gives grace and can enable us to recall once we put it in our mind to have Him recall to us. I wake up several times during the night and have not slept through a night in years and years due to chronic illness and pain, etc, and  by His grace try and get my mind on a passage of Scripture to try and praise Him for … to help me get my thoughts on things above as quickly as I can…as either my thoughts will master me or I will master them. -{Col 3:1-3}

These past weeks  I have been on 1 Peter 1:2-9 where Peter writing to the suffering believers has them BLESS -{Speak well of } God… and to “…greatly rejoice” in the LORD despite their circumstances,…Peter does not deny their sufferings or FIERY TRIALS, BUT he does give them perspective on them and reasons to rejoice in The Living HOPE they have as their foundation. Below are a few “primers” to help in choosing to rejoice, be glad, delight in Him and reasons why… it does not negate the pain they are in but it gives them a Person to focus on in the Pain and promises.
