It was Martin Luther who had a difficult time with the concept of God being a Loving Heavenly Father. Jesus says “as you have seen ME, You have SEEN the Father.”- To get a true, un-warped view of God as your Father look at Jesus. Over 600 times He is referred to in the Gospels. Ask the Lord to show you the Father. 21 times in the Gospels He is called “Your Father”… 1 John 3:1-3 says “SEE- what love the FATHER has lavished on us that we should be called children of God and such we ARE…” Peter wrote, “Blessed be the God and FATHER of our Lord Jesus who has caused us to be BORN AGAIN to a LIVING HOPE”- {1 Peter 1:3}…Paul wrote, “Blessed be the God and FATHER…who has blessed us with every spiritual blessings…” -{Eph 1:3;} again, “Blessed be the God and FATHER …the Father of MERCIES and God of ALL Comfort who comforts us… so we will be able to comfort others.”- {2 Cor 1:3}

“But the time is coming–indeed it’s here now–when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship Him that way.”-{John 4:23}.
