Have you ever had those tough days, when you just needed to grab onto something from the LORD to help you think straight and stabilize you so not to be overwhelmed by circumstances? This morning is one of those times for me, so so sick from the muscle disease and pressures abounding, “But God…” to the rescue, as I thought on His being FAITHFUL… Below are some thoughts, verses I hope will encourage you. Thank God He IS our anchor of Hope, to keep us in the storms!

God IS Faithful, reliable, and trustworthy, and we need to hold to this attribute of His to help in times of testing when feelings, and circumstances, like the wind that blows and moves things would seek to move us from the anchor of Hope we have in Him! Consider these verses and seek to commit some to memory. Perhaps writing on a 3 by 5 card and putting it on your bathroom mirror and as you brush your teeth, read and reread and before you know it you will have a verse in your mind that the Holy Spirit can recall and use to remind you of in future times for yourself and also that you might share with others! Pick a verse a week or two, and work your way through them, noting His character and promise and provision from the verse. Use them in your time of prayers to praise Him for the Worship of Him. Speak the truth to yourself and listen to what His Word says so as to drown out the attacks the evil one uses through the thoughts and even voices of others to tempt you to doubt Him and turn to other things, and people, to displace Him. Near the end of his life, Hudson Taylor missionary to China traveled and shared the same message that he, through countless trials, and sufferings, had learned from his lifetime and wished to pass on, “Hold that GOD Is Faithful!” This one truth sustained him and he had learned and proved God to be true to him, and he wanted to encourage others to find comfort, hope, assurance, and confidence in Him, who is “Faithful!”…

THINK-

ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT TO RECALL TO YOU TIMES WHEN GOD HAS SHOWN HIMSELF FAITHFUL TO YOU AND USE AS “FUEL FOR YOUR FAITH” AND ALSO FOR PRAISE TO HIM, AND SHARE WITH SOMEONE, TESTIFY TO HIS FAITHFULNESS.

If Moses never had the red Sea in front of him, he never would have known God could not only open the Red Sea and deliver but was FAITHFUL to what He had promised to do. The first Four letters in Testimony are – T-E-S-T. Your T-E-S-T as mine are opportunities to lean in on Him and learn from Him,  experience again, and be reminded, that He IS FAITHFUL!

HOLD THAT GOD IS FAITHFUL!… BECAUSE HE IS 🙂

“HOLD THAT GOD IS FAITHFUL!”

And That Is HIS PROMISE!
