Looking unto Jesus- Because…
I need JESUS to save me from sin, satan, self, the wrath of God
I need JESUS to sustain me
I need JESUS to show me the Heavenly Father
I need JESUS to Erase my sins on His cross.
I need JESUS Blood to continually cleanse me.
I need JESUS Power to enable me.
I need JESUS to empathize with me
I need JESUS to teach me how to empathize with others
I need JESUS to love me
I need JESUS to teach me to love
I need JESUS to teach me to trust
I need JESUS to make me trustworthy
I need JESUS to intercede for me
I need JESUS to teach me to pray
I need JESUS to teach me how to walk in obedience
I need JESUS because I am needy
I need JESUS to encourage me
I need JESUS to teach me how to encourage others
I need JESUS to open my mind to understand the Scriptures
I need Jesus to incline my heart to Obey the Scriptures
I need JESUS in times of temptation
I need JESUS to help me respond Godly in my trials
I Need JESUS to help me to THINK right and DO right
I Need JESUS to Motivate me
I need JESUS to love through me I need JESUS to give me a heart for the lost
I need JESUS to give me a heart for His people
I need JESUS to give me Hope
I need JESUS to enable me to offer Hope to Others
I need Jesus to show me God’s glory
I need Jesus to teach me to do all that I do for the Glory of God
I need JESUS to live daily in light of eternity
Apart from Jesus I can do nothing!
In light of but a few of the above mention “needs,” I must as must you continually turn away and with steadfastness of faith ..LOOK AWAY TO JESUS who is Sufficient!
Looking Away To JESUS …BECAUSE- JESUS is the answer to my need!
I NEED- JESUS!
As I wrote down the above thoughts I was reminded of an old hymn which I looked up and include for your encouragement,which reads,
“1. I need Thee every hour, most gracious Lord;
No tender voice like Thine can peace afford.
