How wonderfully comforting there is room in the heart of Jesus for the troubled of heart! – {John 14:1-6}
4 COMFORTS FOR THE TROUBLED HEART;
- -TRUST -IN HIS PRESENCE -I AM HERE- He has told them He would leave and He assures them though He is unseen He is Present with them.- V1
- -TRUST IN HIS PROMISES -He assures them He goes to prepare a place for them and will come again and receive them to Himself… V 3
- – TRUST HE HAS A PLACE FOR YOU ; “The FATHER’S HOUSE”. v2….”The Father’s House”- what comfort, the Father is there, your citizenship is there- so no refusal for you…. the Savior is there… your Name is recorded in the book of life… there is comfort, love, security, joy unspeakable and pleasures forever more in “The Father’s House.”
I once sat up for nights with a family at a hospital with their dear mom. One night about 1 am I left and went home for a few hours sleep and when I returned and went to her room , she was not there, There was no evidence that she has ever been there. The cards, pictures on the wall belonging to her were gone. She was gone. Her bed freshly made, the room clean, no trace of medicines. I went to the nurses station and inquired where was she, Had she been moved to another room? The nurse went into a backroom and a second nurse came and spoke to me and told me she had “expired!” I thought about that word and it seemed to refer to an old cartoon of milk past it’s due date -“expired!” When I spoke at her funeral I shared she had not “expired” but had gone to her”FATHER’S House.”
- TRUST IN THE PERSON– Christianity is Christ. Jesus Christ who is the way the truth the life, no man comes to the Father except through Him. v6
Four comforts for troubled heart’s- TRUST IN HIS PRESENCE WITH YOU; TRUST IN HIS PROMISES FOR YOU; TRUST THERE IS A PLACE PREPARED FOR YOU; TRUST IN THE PERSON OF JESUS.
*TROUBLES ARE INEVITABLE- But they do not have to master you
* THINK ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, TODAY.

*TRUST HIS WORD
*THANK THE LORD JESUS- HE IS YOUR ALTERNATIVE FOR -YOUR- TROUBLED HEART.
