COMPLETE FORGIVENESS IS MEANT TO HAVE A GODLY EFFECT, AND TRANSFORMATION  IN YOUR LIFE- TODAY!

The believers POSITION before God because of the Perfect work of the LORD Jesus is that they have COMPLETE FORGIVENESS- The Word “COMPLETE” in Colossians 2:10 means –“THE STATE OF NO DEFICIENCY!” – and as a result  the believers STANDING BEFORE GOD IS- Completely, Irrevocably Pardoned- their sin has been erased eternally- So powerful and Perfect is the Blood of Jesus Christ TO FORGIVE MEANS TO “SEND AWAY, CANCEL, ERASE, PARDON… TO WIPE THE SLATE CLEAN- NO RECORDS AND ETERNALLY SO! The Believer now “STANDS IN GRACE”- fully accepted in the merits of Jesus Christ -{Read Romans 5:1-2}

 Consider the FRUIT Of Forgiveness, and the  7 EFFECTS- God’s Forgiveness should PRODUCE in you and increasingly so…

1.- FORGIVENESS SHOULD MOTIVATE YOU TO BE –A WORSHIPFUL PERSON

Psalm 103:4 – “OH LORD IF YOU SHOULD REGARD INIQUITY WHO COULD STAND BUT WITH YOU THERE IS FORGIVENESS THAT YOU MIGHT BE FEARED/ REVERED!

  2. – FORGIVENESS SHOULD MOTIVATE YOU TO BE  – A PRAISING PERSON

EPH 1:7; “… to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace which He lavished on US.”

 3. – FORGIVENESS SHOULD MOTIVATE YOU TO BE – A HAPPY PERSON

Psalm 32:1 says, “Happy is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is removed- or covered.”  Forgiveness is meant to produce happy people. “The word “blessed” here is equivalent to “happy. ” It speaks of the state of contententedness, It comes from a word meaning to be “straight, right.” Happy, contended is the person  who is right in his or her relationship with God and is forgiven all of their sins! “Happy is the man;” or “happy is the condition – the state of mind – happy are the prospects, of one whose sins are forgiven.” His condition is happy or blessed:

 4. – FORGIVENESS SHOULD MOTIVATE YOU TO BE AN EVER INCREASING – THANKFUL PERSON

COL 1:12-14-“giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”

“GIVING THANKS-{Grammatically means, Continually} TO GOD THE FATHER…FOR FORGIVENESS OF SINS!

5.- FORGIVENESS SHOULD MOTIVATE YOU TO BE  – A LOVING PERSON

“SHE LOVED MUCH BECAUSE SHE WAS FORGIVEN MUCH….”- Luke 7:47. – “Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet. You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet.Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.”- Luke 7:44-47.

The humility of the lady. She took the low place and washed His feet with her tears. She loved Much because she had been Forgiven much. She felt her sin and the release from them by Him caused her to give herself to love. We often love little because we fail to recognize how much we have been forgiven, Forgiveness is meant to produce Love to the LORD!

6.- FORGIVENESS SHOULD MOTIVATE YOU TO BE  –  A FORGIVING PERSON.

“JUST AS GOD IN CHRIST HAS FORGIVEN YOU SO FORGIVE ONE ANOTHER.”  – EPH 4:32 . Extending forgiveness to others just as God has forgiven you! “Has Forgiven you.” is the aorist tense which means His forgiveness is Finished, Full, Final!  We are to forgive likewise!

7.-FORGIVENESS SHOULD CAUSE YOU TO – GLORIFY GOD.

“ Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Rise and walk’? But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—He then said to the paralytic, “Rise, pick up your stretcher, and go home.” He rose and went home.When the crowds saw this they were struck with awe and glorified God who had given such authority to human beings.”-{Matt 9:5-7}

“IN CHRIST” YOU STAND – COMPLETELY FORGIVEN- “THE STATE OF NO DEFICIENCY” – BECAUSE you have “A COMPLETE” SAVIOR – JESUS CHRIST.- {Read Col 2:13-15}

The effects of forgiveness should be ever-changing in your life, causing you to be an increasing

  • Worshipful.

  • Happy.

  • Praising.

  • Thankful.

  • Loving.

  • Forgiving.

  • Glorifying God…person.

FORGIVENESS is meant to have an effect on your life!

* MEMORIZE AND MEDITATE; WRITE A VERSE FROM THE ABOVE LIST ON A  3 BY 5 CARD OR ON YOUR PHONE AND CARRY WITH YOU AND WHEN YOU HAVE FREE MOMENTS Look at the verse, word by word, phrase by phrase, and MEMORIZE MEDITATE. APPLY by receiving, believing, and celebrating God’s Forgiveness for you.

  • THINK ABOUT THE COST OF FORGIVENESS– IT COST GOD HIS SON!.
  • GOD’S FORGIVENESS IS  MEANT TO PRODUCE AND INDEED MOTIVATE YOU TO CHOOSE TO BE – A WORSHIPFUL- PRAISING- HAPPY– LOVING- THANKFUL- – FORGIVING – AND GLORIFYING GOD KIND OF PERSON. Is it? If not- time to Repent and reconsider Christ of The Cross.

PRAY – Ask God to open your mind to understand the Christ of Forgiveness and the Complete Forgiveness you have as a result of His Gift to you- and may it MOTIVATE the way you CHOOSE to live life TODAY, CELEBRATING Him.
