No matter what the trial is , These 4 Commands never change.

Imagine having an open book test and you choose to close the book or ignore its answers and instead choose to lean to your own understanding and wonder why you keep failing. Who’s fault it is? You can choose to blame others but the realty is you have chosen to reject to look at the book which contain the answers and apply. Why? You feel you are wiser than the one who wrote the book, you may be indifferent, but the bottom line is you keep failing and it is no one else’s fault but your self. You have the open book test, choose to read it and remind yourself and apply it and in doing so you will respond God’s way and express Love to HIM!

The FOUR COMMANDS ARE…

1. – IMMEDIATELY COMMENCE REJOICING . ” CONSIDER IT ALL JOY ,my brethren, when you encounter various trials,” – v2. * The immediate response to every trial is to choose to delight, be glad rejoice when you encounter, “fall into” trials of all shapes and sizes. You cannot command an emotion. Joy is an attitude in who God is and KNOWING What He desires and enables you to live out. You can rejoice , delight, be glad as you think correctly about your trial and the LORD who gives you the ability to know how to respond in a  way that expresses LOVE to Him in your trial.  A trail coes and you may wonder,”How can I rejoice in this?”and  the reasons being the next THREE COMMANDS tell you why you can!!!

 2. – “KNOWING” KNOWING that the testing of your faith produces endurance.- v3. “KNOWING”– Has to do with an “UNDERSTANDING MIND.” You understand God is is out to produce in you spiritual stamina and spiritual maturity as you respond God’s way in this trial! “KNOWING that the testing of your faith PRODUCES Perseverance”- v3

 3. “LET” –  “And LET endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. – v 4. “LET” is a command and has to do with a “SUBMISSIVE WILL.” Submitting your will to choose to “REJOICE” Because you “KNOW” it is God’s way and it is producing in you, A.) -“perseverance” -v 3.and  B.) -spiritual maturity-v 4,  and C) an  Opportunity to express LOVE to God when you choose to respond His way by obeying these 4 Commands in every trial. v- 12

 4.-“ASK”” But if any of you lacks wisdom, let  him ASK of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. -v 5. “ASK” is a command. ASK GOD for wisdom. How to know and apply His Word to the situation. NOTE; We are to “ASK GOD” so often in our trials and troubles we are asking “why me ?’ when we should  “ASK GOD for …wisdom” knowing He will not berate or deny you when you ask  believing you will receive from Him who LOVES to give generously and never   berating or reproaching you.

Why? You feel you are wiser than the one who wrote the book, you may be indifferent, but the bottom line is you keep failing and it is no one ease’s fault but your self.

  Tests, troubles, trials come and God has gone to great length and love in giving His Son and preserving of His Word through the generations and you thumb your nose at Him, despise His Word, believe you can handle it yourself and keep failing and you wonder why? Leaning to our own understanding is to tell God  He cannot be trusted!

THINK, THINK THINK AND DO , DO  DO, HIS WORD

 MOTIVATION;

“Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial ; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.” – V12

 Have you ever said,”LORD I want to show You I love You.” Trials when they come are often met with grumbling, complaining and even anger at times, not realizing trials are gigantic opportunites to grow WISE and EXPRESS LOVE TO GOD through choosing to OBEY God’s commands. “He who has My commanments is the one that Loves Me”-the Lord Jesus said in John 14:21. God bless you to be encouraged to follow Him in your trials and persevere, spiritually mature – which are TWO of GOD’S REASONS FOR TRIALS for you and by responding appropriately you express LOVE TO HIM
