PAUL’S MESSAGE WAS CHRIST!
Paul Was Saved, “Chosen” To Share The LORD Jesus Christ;
“Now there was a disciple at Damascus named Ananias; and the Lord said to him in a vision, “Ananias.” And he said, “Here I am, Lord.” And the Lord said to him, “Get up and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying, and he has seen in a vision a man named Ananias come in and lay his hands on him, so that he might regain his sight.” But Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much harm he did to Your saints at Jerusalem; and here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on Your name.” But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel; for I will show him how much he must suffer for My name’s sake.” -{Acts 9:10-16}
1.”To me, the very least of all saints, was given this grace: to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ “-{Ephesians 3:8}.
2. “but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block and to Gentiles foolishness, but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. “-{ 1 Cor 1:23-24}.
3. “We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ. For this purpose also I labor, striving according to His power, which mightily works within me ” -{Col 1;28-29}
4. “For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.”- {1 Cor 2:2}.
5. He would later write, ” …may it never be that I should BOAST, EXCEPT IN THE CROSS OF our LORD Jesus Christ…”-{Gal 6:14}. The cross of Christ was central to His message for in it He saw the love of God and it’s liberating power. Paul proclaimed, and made much of a Person and His Work, the LORD Jesus Christ, Sovereign King!
6. “‘And it shall be that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ “Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know— this Man, delivered over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, you nailed to a cross by the hands of godless men and put Him to death. But God raised Him up again, putting an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power.“-{Acts 2:21-24}.
7. “Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,” -{Philippians 2:8-10}
8. “I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. “-{Galatians 2:20}.
Don’t preach a Program, Preach A Person- The LORD Jesus Christ!
A system cannot save or empower, The Savior can and does!
