TODAY people are afraid of dying! We have a wonderful opportunity to speak to them of Him who Died to Deliver them from that FEAR! Their fear of dying can be an opportunity to lovingly share with them the love of Christ for them! A Springboard into speaking of eternal realities!
But sometimes we believers too can succumb to the temptation to be afraid and we need to remind ourselves of Him and TRUTH from His Word to strengthen our faith in GOD when it is under attack and all kinds of lying thoughts seek to influence our mind to doubt Him. BE encouraged as you read on…
Consider one aspect of The Christians Inheritance “In Christ!” The LORD Jesus disarmed satan, and the power of fear he held over people that enslaved them in terror regarding dying! JESUS DID IT!!
The Believers Inheritance is…
1.- FREE THROUGH THE PERSON OF CHRIST!
“…that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might FREE those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.”-{Hebrews 2:14-15}
What a Powerful Savior is Jesus Christ. “Oh death where is Your sting…!” What looked like utter defeat was in fact God’s Means for our DELIVERANCE!-The death of His dear Beloved Son!
2. FREE THROUGH THE POWER OF THE CROSS OF CHRIST!
“And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.…”-{Col 2:15}.
3. FREE TO BE IN THE PRESENCE OF CHRIST!
Death for the Follower of the LORD Jesus is.. Gain… it is FAR BETTER… Why? Because they go to be with …. HIM!
“…to die is gain... to DEPART and be with Christ, which is better by far...”-{Phil 1:21,23}
The word “DEPART” was used to loose the roped that held a ship tied to the harbor so it was free to do what it was created for, sail the seas, death looses the ropes to this earth and frees us to be with the LORD JESUS and that is FAR BETTER!
Death comes to every household, none excluded, and in the world of great turmoil, sadness and increasing fear we as His followers as a result of His mercy towards us, not based on anything worthy but despite our sinfulness through His mercy and Grace which He has extended in saving us need not FEAR DEATH, for Deaths power of fear has been once an for all broken from him who held that power over us. We can be tempted to yield to fear but remember Him who arose from the dead and what He says “I have NOT given you a spirit of fear but of POWER… love and a SOUND MIND”-{2 Tim 1:7}…
In this time of worldwide Turmoil, THINK on Him His sacrifice His PERSONAL involvement in your life in going to the cross and three days later being raised from the dead ascending to Heaven all authority and power in heaven and on earth having been given to Him and He sits as King of kings and LORD of lords this moment and forever more!
So, we choose to fix our minds on Him and FEED on His Word for our faith in Him and apply His truth to our life and we praise Him, Thank him and… SHARE HIM with others that they too through repentance towards God and faith in our LORD Jesus Christ may know Him who has the power of life and death in His hands and enter into His Inheritance for us which includes FREEDOM FROM THE TYRANNY, FEAR OF DEATH THROUGH…THE PERSON OF CHRIST…THE POWER OF THE CROSS OF CHRIST… Death will But be used of God to usher me into…THE PRESENCE OF CHRIST!

THIS DAY WE LIVE IN IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO SHARE THE GOSPEL. TO SPEAK OF DEATH TO PEOPLE WHO ARE…FEARFUL OF DYING… ABOUT THE LORD JESUS CHRIST WHO CONQUERED DEATH, THE ETERNAL CONSEQUENCES OF THE PENALTY AND CAN ALSO FREE THEM FROM THE FEAR OF DEATH AND ALSO SHARE WITH BELIEVERS THAT……
DEATH is But a TAXI to Bring us HOME! It is the LOOSING of the ties of this world to bring us to Him who created and died to Redeem us. Either the LORD Jesus will return to get me or He will use death. Either way by His sacrifice and mercy I as will all His own be with Him forever! What amazing Grace.
DEATH will come, whether it is through a Virus lie Covid-19 or some other means but Remember JESUS CHRIST IS VICTOR over DEATH having conquered it and the devil and He will bring you safely HOME to be with Him in The Father’s House!
DEATH’S POWER DEFANGED!– JESUS CHRIST HAS DEFANGED the evil one and his venomous power of death and the fear of death over you. OUR DELIVER- JESUS CHRIST, OUR CONQUEROR, REDEEMER, EMANCIPATOR!
Jesus DEFEATED Death and “In Christ” You are FREE FROM living under The Fear of death, as part of your “INHERITANCE IN CHRIST. When the evil one seeks to inject thoughts of fear of death yo speak Hebrews 2:14-15, Jesus Defeated death, that death would not destroy, damn or defeat you, “In Christ”-{Rom 8:1-2}
CELEBRATE THE LORD JESUS…

WHO can You share this good news with someone who is afraid, or tempted to be afraid who knows Him?
WHO can You share with who is afraid of dying who does not know Him? Sharing Hebrews 2:14-15 and the outline I have used with them? That they too can know…
…Freedom from the FEAR of DEATH through the Person of Christ, The POWER of Christ and one day too, be ushered into the PRESENCE of Christ..!
How about meditating and memorizing and applying and sharing Hebrews 2:14-15 today with someone. Hiding it in your mind so the Holy Spirit can remind you when need when tempted to fear or to encourage another believer or reach out to someone who does not know the LORD Jesus as a means of hope and to plant a seed that God might give the increase and save them to worship Him who has conquered, sin, death and the evil one to bring them to Himself and eternity in His presence to worship and enjoy Him forever! Think of others…
