Do You Know What God Enjoys Regarding You? – {Read Philippians 2:13}.
We all find enjoyment in various things, people. Do you know what God enjoys regarding you?
“It is GOD who is at work IN You both to Desire and Do His will…” {Phil 2:13}.
So God is continually working, Divinely energizing IN you, giving you both the DESIRES And ABILITY to do His Will, in thought, word and deed… but to what end? “For…” the word gives the explanation why God does this…”FOR… HIS… GOOD…PLEASURE!” There you have it, God’s motivation is for His pleasure, It pleases Him, He finds pleasure. “GOOD PLEASURE “{eudkias} the word expresses “GREAT ENJOYMENT and SATISFACTION!”
God Enjoys working with you and IN you and as you work OUT your salvation…by the Power He imparts… He takes great enjoyment, satisfaction and pleasure in doing so!
God ENJOYS working with and IN you- This is one element of which the Bible speaks of what God ENJOYS!
1. GOD IS – INVESTED IN YOU.
He invested the Life of His Son to purchase you for Himself. “For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. Through Him you believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and glorified Him, and so your faith and hope are in God. “-{1 Peter 1;18-21}. God has Personally INVESTED in you at great Personal cost– the life of His Son!
2. GOD IS – INTIMATELY INVOLVED IN YOUR LIFE.
What Great Hope for the believer. God does not merely save us and leave us to our own efforts but is INTIMATELY involved as He actively, continuously is working in us to give us His Desires and His Power to work out our salvation, by the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit, according to His Word, to live out the Christian life. It is not as though we are a clock that God winds up and leaves us to ourselves, for if that was the case we would fail miserably at the Christian life. We need POWER to live it, and He imparts it by the Power of His Spirit in alignment with His Word to strengthen, guide and encourage us. – {Read Romans 15:4-5}.
3. GOD – Shows You ARE IMPORTANT To HIM… INFINITELY SO!
He FINDS GREAT ENJOYMENT working with and IN you– It is “FOR…” His GREAT ENJOYMENT, SATISFACTION, GOOD PLEASURE!
Instead of THINKING and therefore wrongly concluding and living as though God has a “scowl” on His face when it comes to you, realize the TRUTH… God derives GREAT ENJOYMENT. PERSONAL PLEASURE when it comes to you! He has INVESTED and is INTIMATELY acquainted with you and LOVES you! You are IMPORTANT to Him! Think on that!!
And that is reason alone to work OUT our salvation BECAUSE IT IS OF GREAT PLEASURE to God! Also, because of His Love in Saving us and Empowering us and LOVING US! Praise Him, Thank Him, He loves you and is working IN you… Why? He delights, and finds GREAT pleasure in doing so!
You ARE IMPORTANT To HIM… INFINITELY SO!

Say about yourself as God says about you. God values you!
