“See how very much our Father loves us, for He calls us His children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know Him.”- {1 John 3:1}.
You are loved by your Heavenly Father.
You are who He says you are – His child.
View life through His Word to you.
While for some, an earthly father may be physically absent through death, abandonment, work, neglect, emotionally,…or various reasons, and even if some are considered, “good” hardworking caring fathers, yet like you and me, they are flawed, sinful people who too are in need of salvation through repentance towards God and faith in the LORD Jesus Christ! Your Heavenly Father is flawless, perfect, always present, always listening, caring,right, loving you.
Consider The Father,
“in the fullness of time sent forth His Son into the world“ -{Gal 4:4};The Father so loved the world, He “Gave“ His only unique Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal Life...”-{John 3:16};“Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ…”-{2 Cor 5:18};
“… giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified {authorized} you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and
brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the
forgiveness of sins.”-{Col 1:12-14}.
See, contemplate,meditate from these passages some of the length the Father has gone to show you He LOVES…YOU!
Re read and underline what He has done for you and at great personal cost through The Life of the Son, whom He loves, the LORD Jesus!
Use the above attributes {what is in italics and in bold.} of what He has done for you as “fuel” to worship Him…”But the time is coming–indeed it’s here now–when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship Him that way.”-{John 4:23}. The above verses give you some “truth” to Think right as a means to do right in worshiping- ascribing worth to Him for who He is and what He has done and is doing! Take each one and one by one praise Him for as you use them in your prayers…
Just as there are no perfect children, neither are there any perfect fathers, except our Heavenly Father… and as Jesus said to Philip, “Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?”-{John 14:9}. LOOK AT JESUS, as you read of Him in the Gospels where He is referred to more than 600 times you see what the Father is like!!
Say what the Father about you {1 John 3:1}.
- God is my Father.
- I am Loved by My Heavenly Father…
- I am a child of God.
- I THANK my Heavenly Father for His continual, unbreakable love for me!
Contemplate Him–
Begin with memorizing, meditating on 1 John 3:1
Praise Him,
Thank Him continually
as Paul wrote to the Colossians to do -{Col 1:12}
