OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS!

“as we have OPPORTUNITY, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers”-{Gal 6:10}

2.- OPPORTUNITIES AUDIENCE;
“…ALL people, ESPECIALLY those who belong to the family of believers”

3.- OPPORTUNITIES AIM
“To DO GOOD to all…”

4.- YOUR OPPORTUNITIES
Do you have an opportunity ? Don’t let YOUR OPPORTUNITIES pass by…Avail of the opportunities to DO GOOD!

When we do good, men see our good works and glorify our Father who is in Heaven, we read in Matthew 5. Doing good is an evidence of spiritual growth according to Colossians 1:10 and is the will of God for us. We read in Titus chapters 2 and 3, that we are to learn to do good, be zealous to do good, indeed Paul wrote in Ephesians 2 we are saved by grace through faith and that not of ourselves it is the gift of God and we are created in Christ for, good works! How very often we are seduced into believing a lie, that we are to look to the horizon for some great work God has for us and we fail to live in the moment, and notice the people in our lives and “do good,” right where  we are! Or  like the two men who passed by the man left laying beside the road having been beat up and robbed, we walk by and miss the opportunity to do good before us! A good Samaritan observed and acted and choose to “do good,” we too must do likewise and in doing so our Father is glorified as people observe our good works.

We don’t “do good,” to be accepted by God but out of appreciation in love choose to obey Him who has done good to us, rescuing us from our sin, shame and bondage and transferred into the Kingdom of His Beloved Son from the kingdom of Darkness, forgiven us totally, eternally and adopting us into his family and given us His Spirit to guide us into truth and Precious and magnificent promises to encourage and enable us to love Him and live Godly daily, moment by moment {Read  Col 1:12-14; John 16:13; 2 Peter 1:3-4}.

Doing good is a Love issue. Love for God and others are our opportunity to express love to them, yes, but primarily to God who has loved us, through our obeying His command-“DO GOOD!” Be a DO- GOODER, Today! Look not to the horizon and miss the people in the circumstances presently you find yourself in!
