If you can’t change your circumstances does that mean you cannot change your attitude, actions and honor God?
Do Circumstances Determine My Mood?
Are your circumstances in control of you, or can you be in control of you, {self-control} by submitting to the Spirit of God and the Scriptures in your circumstances?
YOU choose your responses, YOU choose Your Attitudes, YOU choose YOUR Actions, as do I! –
Circumstances often reveal what is in us by our response to them and those around us! They bring out what is in us…Are we then controlled by circumstances and our behavior defined by our circumstances or by an ever-changing life- growth in Christlikeness?
TWO PROMISES OF HOPE FOR CHANGE;
1.-“By His DIVINE POWER, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. And because of his glory and excellence, He has given us great and precious promises.
These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.” – {2 Peter 1:3-4 NLT}.
God has given you Power and Promises “EVERYTHING you need for Living a Godly life” and Promises to ENABLE you to live it out!
2. “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him.”-{Phil 2:13 NLT}
God is working not only around you but IN YOU giving you DESIRES and POWER to what end? To Do what Pleases Him. You are not in this alone or have to Conjure up the impossible but God is “In You” working to GIVE you the DESIRES AND POWER TO LIVE IT OUT!
1.-YOU HAVE POWER.
2. – YOU HAVE PROMISES FOR PERSONAL CHANGE, IRRESPECTIVE OF YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES!
3. – YOU CAN PRACTICE THE TRUTH and Be Changing.-{Read Rom 12:2; Phil 4:8 -9}
