We may look at circumstances and they are bad, and they are, but we can know even rising from these sorrows, pain, heartache, and valleys of great difficulties that God will cause “good” to arise out of them.
That “Good,” which is beneficial to us, through us to others, and honors the LORD.
Some potentially being…
* The “Good” of developing our character to be Christlike.-(Rom 8:28;29)
* The “Good” of developing our perspective to see things, life, through the eyes of God’s Word. -(Matt 4:4)
* The “Good” of Developing our faith, weaning us off self-reliance to God dependency. -(2 Cor 1:9).
* The “Good” of Equipping us to comfort others with the comfort God has comforted us with in our times of great sorrows, “afflictions,”-( Read 2 Cor 1:3-4).
* The “Good” of opening up opportunities to share-( Phil 1:12; 1 Peter 3:15).
* The “Good” of learning to devote to doing good and living productive lives -( Titus 3:14)
*. The “Good” that enables you to look back on your life and recognize the same Shepherd who guided you in the Paths of righteousness to the green pastures and quiet waters of rest, nourishment, and safety, is the same Shepherd who led you THROUGH the Valleys of Difficulties and darkness. You can trace His providential care and Lovingkindness and can say “Surely Your GOODNESS and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever. ”-( Psalm 23:6). As He who was with you and guided you THROUGH past Valleys of Difficulties is with you now in your present valley of difficulty will guide you THROUGH this one!
Though at times it may not seem like it, “feel” like it, He PROMISES He will cause “ALL THINGS to work together for GOOD to those who love God and are called according to His purpose.”-( Rom 8:28). And He knows that you…Love Him!
Contemplate His Goodness to you. Ask Him to remind you of How He has shown His Goodness to you
Celebrate His Goodness.
Tell of His Goodness to others!
God bless,
Aidan.
