God is “The God of Hope.”– ( Rom 15:13). Literally “of THE Hope,” not “a,” as one in many, but “THE” hope. He is Author and provider, of abundantly, endless, good, exclusively assured Hope, for you to avail of. His Hope is an eternal reservoir.
“Hope,” the Greek word, {elpis} means,“desire of some good with EXPECTATION of Obtaining it.” –{JD Watson} It speaks of certainty! The confident expectation in Him to fulfill His Word. It is not a wish or a “hope so,” with no certainty, that fills with anxiety, but a certainty in Him, what He says. “So hope always means certainty, it expresses an attitude and absolute assurance and rest in that assurance. The verb {elpizo} means “to expect with desire.”-{JD Watson}.
1.- HOPE FOR OUR SIN; When we sin there is the hope. If it is a sin issue, there is Hope in Him to rescue, deliver, saving you from it.- “And you shall call His Name Jesus and He shall save His people from their sins.” -Matt 1:21
2.– HOPE WHEN WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO; When we don’t know what to do there is the hope of- Wisdom to you, to ask of Him. It is actually a command and as you believe Him for it, you will receive from Him, wisdom! – “If anyone lacks wisdom let him ASK{A Command } in faith and it will be given him. “ -(Jam 1:5-6)
3.– HOPE WHEN WE FAIL; When we are faithless there is still Hope to be found in Him. “if we are faithless, He remains faithful, He cannot deny Himself! – (2 Tim 2:13)
4.– HOPE WHEN WE DESPAIR; “Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.-(Psalm 43:5.)
Note, despair, does not have the final say, you can CHOOSE to trade it in for HOPE, God’s HOPE, and you will PRAISE HIM, Hope in MY SAVIOR, …MY GOD,” He had a personal relationship with Him and He had imparted him the power to exchange Hope for despair as he has you and me!
5. – HOPE WHEN WE SUFFER; “Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”-{Romans 5:3-5}
6. – COMES FROM GOD; “May the God of ALL HOPE fill you with all joy and peace in believing SO THAT YOU may overflow with Hope by the Power of the Holy Spirit. – (Rom 15:13)
7.– HOPE DOES NOT DISAPPOINT; “..Because the LOVE of God has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit – (Rom 5:5)
Hope has a name- GOD! And God wants you to have His hope In Him. He imparts it Though His Word-{Romans 15:4} from His Spirit –{Rom 15:13} The Son of God- {1 Timothy 1:1}.
“Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled.”-{Romans 15:4}
“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”- {Romans 15:13}

The SCRIPTURES- THE SPIRIT OF GOD -THE SON OF GOD!
GOD WILL NOT LEAVE YOU WITHOUT HOPE– whether it is a Sin issue, Failure, not knowing what to Do, Despair, Suffering… He supplies “THE HOPE” for each of these situations for You! Lead and Leave yourself with Hope in God and His Word. Lead and leave others with the God of all Hope. Hide these verses above in your heart, the certainty, and assurance of His provision to strengthen you and also be able to offer people hope from them!
REST, RECEIVE, RELY upon the GOD OF ALL HOPE!
“May the God of ALL HOPE, fill you with ALL Joy and peace in believing SO THAT You will Overflow with HOPE by the Power of the Holy Spirit.”- Rom 15:13. Take the above verse and place your name or someone else’s name where it says” you,” and personalize it in your request to God for your self or others….what a request to Him who is able, willing to fulfill this request.
THE RESPONSE TO HIS HOPE?
“PRAISE GOD THE FATHER…..who through His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a LIVING HOPE through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” -{1 Pet 1:3}…. PRAISE HIM for Initiating, and gifting you His Hope at great personal cost, the coming, and cross of His Son, and His resurrection guarantees it for you today!
May God fill you with hope- confident expectation in the eternal realities of God to bring about good and the expectation of receiving it!
