“Ah Sovereign LORD,… NOTHING Is Too Difficult For You.” – {Jeremiah 32:17}.
A QUESTION FOR YOU. The verse says, “NOTHING Is To Difficult For YOU.” If we remove the word “Nothing” and replace it with your problem, it reads ” {Place your problem here} Is Too Difficult For YOU!” Have you ever considered this is how you live your life, continually telling God what is too difficult for Him! You are saying and declaring “SOMETHING,” name the problem or Circumstance, “…Is Too Difficult for You.” I have found it! Do you rewrite the verse to say, “SOMETHING Is Too Difficult for YOU.” It is either “NOTHING” or “SOMETHING” “…Is Too Difficult For YOU.” What is the “Something” that you say is Too difficult for God? What do you say, where does your faith lay? For this will affect your PRAYING…as it will mine!
“NOTHING,” absolutely NOTHING Is Too difficult, Hard For God! Jeremiah in time of great trouble speaks forth and reminds himself and declares the basis of his faith and prayer is the PERSON of God and the POWER of God! Consider…
- – GOD’S SOVEREIGNTY-
GOD HIMSELF- Himself the PERSON to Trust. He is “SOVEREIGN.” The last five letters spell. “REIGN.” God REIGNS! He is KING of Kings LORD of Lords. HE “R-E-I-G=N’S” HIMSELF the FOCUS AND FOUNDATION TO REST YOUR FAITH UPON! THINK RIGHT about Him as this verse shows, TRUST IN HIM. Jeremiah begins with God “Ah Sovereign LORD” and ends the verse with GOD, “…Nothing is too Difficult for YOU,” Begin and end with HIM! - GOD’S CREATIVE POWER;
It was in the midst of difficulties Jeremiah pens this great verse of faith. It is a Focus On God. His Creative Power. The word “AH” was used to speak of -Pain. This was a distressing time, yet Jeremiah does not end with the distress, but with GOD. How easy it is for us in difficulties to end with them, engulfed by them and not GOD. Here Jeremiah gives us an EXAMPLE of how he dealt with distress. He shows forth a solid FOUNDATION for us in times of difficulties to THINK RIGHT and FOCUS on GOD. His attributes, His CREATIVE POWER- “By YOUR Great Power and Outstretched Hand You have made the heavens and the earth,”- His Power to Create, he recalls. “In the beginning God Created…” Out of nothing, unlike a carpenter who needs wood to make something, God out of nothing, no materials, no tools, simply His Word speaks forth that which was not and brings it into being and “upholds” maintains it all by the power of His Word! {Read Heb 1:3}. POWER to CREATE the heavens and all they contain, stars, galaxies, all known to Him. Power to create the earth and all is contains. POWER to SUSTAIN. All Creation, sustained and created by Him! Such is His CREATIVE POWER!
God’s Creative Power is cause for Jeremiah to TRUST God. He THINKS on TRUTH about God and fans the flame of his faith in God! Often, we fail to THINK on God, the TRUTH About Him and we wrongly conclude that our circumstances, as overwhelming as they seem to be are impossible, too difficult for Him, because they are too difficult for us!
We lean to our own understanding and focus on ourselves, the situations like the people who were sent out to spy the land did, and forgot and ignored the promise of God to them. They looked at the problem and not at the God who promised to provide for them! We too often do likewise.
Yet, we are reminded that the TRUTH sets us free. Free from the bondage of sin, the grip of satan, free to know God, love others, free to THINK RIGHT ABOUT GOD! Often it is old habits we fall back into under pressure. We resort to the old way of thinking and worry results, hopelessness envelops and despair settles in on our hearts and the blues and worse pursues us. This is not freedom, it is not the Liberty for which Christ died and arose again and ascended, that we should experience.-{Read Gal 5:2}. Free to THINK right about God. Free to learn from others in His Word and learn of Him. Free to live with purpose, to honor Him. Free to THINK RIGHT- TRUST HIM! CREATOR GOD!
Consider His words to Isaiah to “COMFORT” His people,
“To whom will you compare me? Who is my equal?” asks the Holy One. Look up into the heavens. Who created all the stars? He brings them out like an army, one after another, calling each by its name. BECAUSE of HIS GREAT POWER and incomparable strength, not a single one is missing. O Jacob, how can you say the Lord does not see your troubles? O Israel, how can you say God ignores your rights? Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, He Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”-{Ish 40:25-31}

When is the last time you have lifted your eyes and considered the heavens, looked around at the clouds, the rain which comes forth, the sun, moon, stars against a backdrop of darkness. All these and more HE HAS CREATED….and to HIM belongs your allegiance to HIM is the FOUNDATION of your TRUST…
- GOD’S UNLIMITED POWER.
“…Nothing Is Too Difficult For You.” There is no power greater than Him. No source of power outside of Him that can thwart His purposes and plans, His is UNLIMITED POWER and causes us to that is a call to worship HIM AND TRUST HIM! There is no end to His sustained Power. No drought in the Power of God!

A. – CONSIDER – HIM
“When I CONSIDER Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained; What is man that You take thought of him, And the son of man that You care for him?”-{Psalm 8:3-4}
– CONTEMPLATE – HIS CREATIVE, UNLIMITED POWER-
- ” The heavens are telling of the glory of God; And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands. Day to day pours forth speech, And night to night reveals knowledge. There is no speech, nor are there words; Their voice is not heard.…”-{Psalm 19:1-3}. I had a room mate once, who very early in the morning as I sat by the side of my bed, trying to wake up, from the cross the room as he sat would ask me, “Did you HEAR them last night?”. “Hear what?” I would respond. “Did you HEAR the Heavens DECLARE{SHOUT} The Glory of God!” All around you is His display, His evidence to you to bring forth and remind you of HIS CREATIVE POWER. …ALSO HIS UNLIMITED POWER…”…NOTHING is too difficult for YOU.”
Whatever you face, is it too difficult for the Sovereign Creator, who has unlimited, inexhaustible power?
POWER TO DELIVER,OR POWER TO…SUSTAIN. He has POWER to DELIVER you FROM the circumstances. In His Sovereignty and wisdom and for His own good reasons, which we may not understand for now, at times He does not deliver us. This is not to say He cannot or He has failed or that there is something wrong with our faith, but at times for His own glory He has us remain in a circumstance and it is through this He has chosen to glorify His Name and develop us and conform us into the image of His dear Son{Read Rom 8:29}. If He chooses not to deliver you from… be assured…
He has POWER to KEEP,SUSTAIN you IN the circumstances with Sufficient GRACE to empower you to endure and honor Him in the circumstances. -{Read 2 Peter 1:3; 2 Cor 12:7-10}. His UNLIMITED POWER.

TESTIFY OF HIM-Share the truth with others!
A SOLID FOUNDATION FOR YOUR FAITH? GOD HIMSELF! FOCUS on HIM. His Sovereignty. His Creative Power. His Unlimited Power! “… NOTHING is too difficult for YOU.”
Remove your PROBLEM, the “SOMETHING,” as the final authority and replace with “NOTHING,” “{including your circumstance }…Is Too Difficult For YOU.” Note; Don’t end with the Problem but with The PERSON, GOD HIMSELF! Who are you ending with? Are you living “SOMETHING” …OR,… “NOTHING” “…Is Too Difficult For YOU.”
