The truth about trials is they are varied in kind, and can be difficult, distressful-(Read 1 Peter 1:6; James 1:2; Psalm 27:13).But they can be used for our “good”-(Read Rom 8:28)., So, what “Good,” can come forth from our trials, and troubles? God can use them to …
1.- DRAW us closer to Himself -(Psalm 61:2; John 6:68), and
2.- DEEPEN our dependency more and more on His Word-(Read Psalm 119:71; John 6:68)
3.- DEVELOP our faith and character- (Read 2 Cor 1:9, Rom 5:3-4)… and learn to…
4.- DISASSOCIATE us from self- reliance to God Dependency-(2 Cor 1:9)
5.- IDENTIFY Compassionately with others-(Read 2 Cor 1:3-4;Rom 12:15)
Today, May God in the midst of your trials, perplexities grant you grace for your trial and understand that good can come forth if it DRAWS you closer to Him, DEEPENS your pursuit of His Word, DISASSOCIATES from self reliance to God dependency, DEVELOP’S your faith in Him and IDENTIFY compassionately with others.
* Take time to read the Bible references under each category, and allow the Holy Spirit minister to your heart and equip you to be able to share with some other hurting soul of the hope that God can bring forth and the “good,” amidst their troubles and distresses. To gain or be reminded of Godly Perspective, as we can often forget when we are in the midst of trials, troubles.
