4 TROUBLED STORIES AND THE CALL TO THANKS!
The Psalmist begins with “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is Good; His Love endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord TELL THEIR STORY—those He redeemed from the hand of the foe,- {Psalm 107:1-2}.
Immediately we see the Psalmist begins with a heart of Gratitude and his OBJECT of Gratitude is THE LORD. He then follows up with those who know of and have experienced the LORD’S Redeeming, rescuing them from their TROUBLES and as a result to TELL THEIR STORY. Think of what the LORD has done for you. How He has shown His Goodness to you and His everlasting love, How He RESCUED, and saved you, not only physically at times but Spiritually, redeeming your soul at Great Price- the Blood of His dear precious Son, our LORD Jesus Christ. And can we not too be a people who are developing more and more an attitude of Gratitude and TELLING Others of what the LORD has done for us! And calling others to SPEAK UP- TELL YOUR STORY!- Not for telling your story’s sake, but to TESTIFY to others of the GOODNESS of the LORD to us, His mercy towards us, His loving kindness He has lavished us with tangible ways.

Oh let us not be silent but let us THANK HIM and… TELL OUR STORY of HIM, who is Good and Lovingkind and redeemed us!

The Psalmist does not call them to a time of silence but a time of TESTIFYING- We all have a STORY TO TELL of the LORD’S rescuing us! And wasn’t it out of Trouble, both physical and spiritual bondage that He rescued you? Tell Your Story and Give the LORD Thanks …POINT people to the LORD, FOR He, is GOOD. FOR His LOVINGKINDNESS is EVERLASTING!”
Note in Psalm 107
