SOME REASONS TO REJOICE, DELIGHT IN THE LORD
1.- REJOICING IN THE LORD’S WONDERFUL REPUTATION;
Psalm 89:15-16 NLT – “Happy are those who hear the joyful call to worship, for they will walk in the light of your presence, LORD. They rejoice all day long in your wonderful reputation. They exult in your righteousness.
2.- REJOICING IN THE DAY THE LORD HAS MADE;
Psalm 118:24 NLT -“This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.”
3.- REJOICING IN THE WONDERFUL NEW RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD;
Romans 5:11 NLT – “So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God.”
4.- REJOICING IN THE WONDERFUL HOPE HE IMPARTS TO US;
Romans 12:12 NLT -“Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.”
5.- REJOICING IN MUTAL JOY WE SHARE;
Philippians 2:18 NLT – “Yes, you should rejoice, and I will share your joy.”
6.- DEEP SEATED JOY IN THE MIDST OF SORROW;
2 Corinthians 6:10 – NLT- “Our hearts ache, but we always have joy. We are poor, but we give spiritual riches to others. We own nothing, and yet we have everything.”
7.- REJOICING IS A SAFEGUARD FOR THE FOLLOWER OF CHRIST;
Philippians 3:1 NLT – “Whatever happens, my dear brothers and sisters, rejoice in the Lord. I never get tired of telling you these things, and I do it to safeguard your faith.“
