The Resurrection Of Jesus Christ from the dead not only declares God has Accepted The Son’s sinless sacrifice and approved it by RAISING Him from the dead, Justified the believer ” but for our sake also, to whom it will be credited, as those who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead,  He who was delivered over because of our transgressions, and was raised because of our justification. “- {Romans 4:24-25} He has been given His Son authority to raise His own from the dead with  new bodies fashioned and made for eternity to live in Heaven with Him. The Power of the resurrection  of The LORD Jesus Christ has an effect on His followers! Paul lays side by side different characteristics of our present earthly body and some characteristics of our Resurrected body in comparison to try show something of the difference and what awaits us!

Paul COMPARES between the  Earthly body we have presently versus the NEW Resurrected Body we will get!

NOTE; the Phrases to show the Comparisons.; “Sown in …” and “…Raised In”-

1.-  Sown In…Perishable (corruption) …Raised In…Imperishable (incorruption) – {v42}

2.- Sown In….dishonor… Raised In Glory – {v43}

3.- Sown In…weakness …Raised In  Powerful – {v43}

4.- Sown In…Natural body …Raised In Spiritual body – {v44} – ” If there is a natural body there is also a spiritual “- {v 44}

“SOWN IN…” Paul uses the analogy of a “seed,” to speak of…

The word is used elsewhere to speak of…

Paul in 1 Corinthians 15 answers those who think there is no resurrection and those who think that the resurrection will consist of the same bodies that we go to the grave with! But we are “Raised” with New Eternally fitted bodies!

They are superior for they are made for a new realm, Heaven!

1.- Raised an Imperishable body (incorruptible)

2.- Raised in Glory

3.- Raised in Power

4.- Raised a Spiritual body

You Will Have A Resurrected body, which will be…

No Decay; No Deterioration; No Disease; No Disabilities-{Isa 35:4-6};No Deficiency; No Death-{ Rev 21:4}!

“For He Himself knows our frame; He is mindful that we are but dust.  As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.  When the wind has passed over it, it is no more, And its place acknowledges it no longer.“- {Psalm 103:14-16.}

“For, “All flesh is like grass, and all its glory like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall,“-{1 Peter 1:24}

What I am saying, dear brothers and sisters, is that our physical bodies cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. These dying bodies cannot inherit what will last forever.  But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed!  It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed.  For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies.”- { 1 Cor 15:50-53 NLT}

“For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.”-{1 Peter 1:23}

 ...I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed—in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.  For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable,and the mortal with immortality.  When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

 “Where, O death, is your victory?
    Where, O death, is your sting?”

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

-{1 Cor 15:50-56- NIV}

For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands. We grow weary in our present bodies, and we long to put on our heavenly bodies like new clothing. For we will put on heavenly bodies; we will not be spirits without bodies. While we live in these earthly bodies, we groan and sigh, but it’s not that we want to die and get rid of these bodies that clothe us. Rather, we want to put on our new bodies so that these dying bodies will be swallowed up by life.  God himself has prepared us for this, and as a guarantee he has given us His Holy Spirit.“-{2 Cor 5:1-5  NLT}

“Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees.  Say to those who are fearful-hearted“Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God; He will come and save you.” Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then the lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb sing. “- Isaiah 35:3-5   (NKJV)

I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among His people! He will live with them, and they will be His people. God Himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”-{Revelation 21:1-4 NLT}

2.  – A Glorified body

“Glory,”  “dignified, honor, excellence, perfection.’

“As a result of the Fall, we are “sown in dishonor.” We were originally made perfect and in the image of God (Genesis 1:27), but sin has brought dishonor. Yet believers have the promise that our imperfect and dishonored bodies will one day be raised in glory. Freed from the restrictions imposed by sin, our resurrected bodies will be honorable and perfectly suited for pleasing and praising our Creator throughout eternity.”-{www.Got questions.}

“He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like His own, using the same power with which He will bring everything under His control.”-{Phil 3:21}

Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but He has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He really is. And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as he is pure.”-{1 John 3:2-3-NLT}

“Then THE RIGHTEOUS WILL SHINE FORTH AS THE SUN in the kingdom of their Father…”- {Matt 13:43}

Mount of Transfiguration

Moses Elijah

Christ arose…

“So we do not lose heart. Though our outer nature is wasting away, our inner nature is being renewed every day. For this slight momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison.“- (2 Corinthians 4:16–17)

3. – A Powerful body

What a PROMISE, you will Experience;

POWER TO  – ETERNALLY SUSTAIN YOU FROM DEATH! YOU WILL NEVER DIE AGAIN… in this case , FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST are compared to angels and then to be part of “THE CHILDREN OF GOD  AND CHILDREN OF THE RESURRECTION!“ – This is who you are, a child of the Resurrection! Not liable to the frailties, sickness and weakness of this present body!

POWER  – AND STAMINA TO SERVE HIM“Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in His temple; and He who sits on the throne will shelter them with His presence.”-{Rev 7:15} Power to perfectly serve God!

POWER TO LIVE – IN HIS HOLY PRESENCE FOR ETERNITY AND NOT BE CONSUMED! Equipped to do so and not be consumed by His Holiness. “… They will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night in the city, and they will have no need for the light of a lamp or of the sun. For the Lord God will shine on them and they will reign forever and ever.” -{Rev 22:4-5}.

POWER  – THAT  IS GREATER THAN HUMAN WEAKNESS, DEATH; The ultimate evidence of human weakness is death. “BUT GOD…” HIS RESURRECTED POWER TRIUMPHS OVER THE HUMAN WEAKNESS OF THESE PRESENT BODIES! It is empowered with Vigor, energy, that it has never known or can conceive. For it is Divine Power!

4. – A Spiritual body

“This probably doesn’t mean that we will be like ghosts possessing no body at all and floating around unable to interact with things around us. After all, verse 49 states that we will have a body like Jesus’ resurrected body (see also 1 John 3:2). And Jesus, after His resurrection, told them to touch Him and to watch Him eat, demonstrating that He was not merely a spirit (Luke 24:37-43). Rather, it’s more likely that just as a natural body is fitted for this present life in our physical universe, the spiritual body will be that which will best suits us for the eternal existence we are destined for in our eternal abode. Jesus’ resurrected body was capable of entering locked rooms at will (John 20:19). Our earthly body limits us in ways (and/or dimensions) that our spiritual body will not.”- {GOT QUESTIONS}

Paul compares “Adam’ with “Christ.” Two families, Adam speaking of humanity, and Christ speaks of the Heavenly Family!

Adam = earthly body-,Christ = spiritual, heavenly – equipped for that realm

” TO SUMMARIZE importantly, the sin nature, inherited from Adam (Romans 5:12) will no longer be with us, for we will be made after the holiness of Christ (1 John 3:2).”-{got questions}
