God has Taken care of your past, so that you need not be Taken up with it but Taken up with Him today!-
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.”-{Isaiah 43:18}; ““Brothers and sisters, I do not regard myself as having taken hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead,”-{Philippians 3:13 ). The word “forgetting ” does not mean you have amnesia but to wilfully choose to neglect the past no longer allowing it to influence you, control, or trap you in despair, or condemnation, or trusting in a works-based righteousness .- Cease to be influenced by the past, in this context it’s a command “forgetting”… in order to pursue the “reaching forward,” “press on” you have to obey the first command, to wilfully choose to neglect the past as a controlling factor in your life!
Neglect past sins and failures as the focus of your life. Don’t dwell there, don’t live in the sins and failures of the past! When we confess and forsake them His blood continuously cleanses us.-{1 John 1:9; Rev 1:5-6}. We look at them to learn from them but we don’t linger there we immediately look away to Jesus! -{Hebrews 3:1;12:2}.
Hope this will encourage you to choose to praise and share Him!
God has Taken care of your past, so that you need not be Taken up with it but Taken up with Him today!
God Bless,
Aidan
