NO ABANDONMENT.
NO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCE, SIN, PERSON can thwart His good purpose for you.
NO REASON TO BELIEVE HE WILL GIVE UP ON YOU, AND QUIT!
He has not and will not give up on you! Be assured. Be confident. Be Thankful…God who initiated is working IN you and He will complete every job He starts including IN you, and nothing or no one can stop Him…while others may walk out, give up, not the God Of Your Salvation! His work is not far off, but IN you, He has personally taken an interest in you, indeed a dying interest as it cost the LORD Jesus His Life, but on that third day He was raised from the dead and sits on the Throne ever living to intercede for you and one day to His delight will call and present you faultless and blameless before the Throne. This world is not your home nor your final destination, you truly are passing through on the way to your Heavenly Father’s House…The LORD Jesus said, to be “with Him…I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.”-{John 14:3}- Where He is there you too will be, not as an uninvited or unwanted guest, but as a truly loved, fully accepted, trophy of His marvelous graciousness…PRAISE HIM. He initiated your salvation and that from before the foundation of the world {Read Eph 1:4}… and He sustains you. Peter said we are “kept” the word means to “guard, protect” and is a military term. Continually guarded, protected, kept, by whose power? Mine? No! Yours? No! For we cannot keep ourselves no matter what great promises we make, we cannot keep ourselves but Peter says to those who were suffering that they had reason to praise, ‘speak well of ‘ Him, in the midst because they were “kept by… the power…of GOD!” God the creator and Sustainer of the world and all that is in it has personally given His promise, His unending, unbreakable guarantee. As God continually “protected” their souls so He does yours! Glorious truth from our truthful all powerful God! “Kept by the power of God…through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials.“-{1 Peter 1:5}. The word “distressed,”means – tearfully sorrowful, mental anguish. Troubles cannot sever His keeping power of your soul and in the midst Peter says Look away to Him and His Promise of permanently Keeping, guarding, sheltering, protecting, SUSTAINING Work and praise Him!- {v3}. Glory! BLESSED ASSURANCE!
What wonderful, glorious assurance from the LORD’S Word for you and ALL His own. Having doubts? The evil one trying to turn you inwards to look at your ‘performance’ away from His finished work? Tempting you to trust in your ‘work’ rather than His? Tempting you to trust in how you’feel’ rather than faith in Him? Then ask yourself these questions,
WHAT does this Verse reveal about the LORD?
Who Initiated YOUR Salvation?
Who Sustains YOUR Salvation?
Who Will Complete YOUR Salvation?
Who Am I FOCUSING ON? Self or the Savior? One will lead to despair, doubts, the other to assurance, praise, thanks, confidence in Him.
Say what He says about Himself and about you. This is imperative in order to live a spiritually stable life otherwise you will be emotionally up and down like a cork bopping in the sea, tossed to and fro by the waves of ever changing feelings, and your performance, or difficulties, gauging God’s love on how smooth your CIRCUMSTANCES are, as though they tell whether He is pleased with you, loves you or not! He says you “are accepted in the Beloved…you are the Beloved of God…” – { Read Eph 1:6;Rom 1:7}. Paul in the midst of suffering said,”…I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that HE is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day.”-{ 2 Tim 1:12}.

THANK YOU LORD, You will COMPLETE my salvation
