THE HOLY SPIRIT EXALTS – Jesus Christ.
“But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on His own; He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come. He will glorify Me because it is from Me that He will receive what He will make known to you.”-{John 16:13-14}.
The Spirit of God’s chief goal is to glorify, to reveal and make much of the Lord Jesus, and in the believers life to work in us the nature and characteristics of Christ.- {Read Gal 5:22-23}. He is the Spirit of Truth, He does not lie, has no part in lying, but Truth. He “Guides” us into the truth. The word, “Guides,” “lead the way,” it refers “to point out the way… to lead one on his way.” “To Lead” as your “leader,” as used in Matt 15:14 and Acts 8;31.
“Guides” suggest it is progressive. And since the subject is the “unfathomable riches of Christ,” it is endless and glorious pursuit.-{Read Eph 3;8}.
He does this through The Word of God, The Word Of Truth, {Read John 17:17}. His taking you as it were, through room to room and reveal Jesus Christ to us, something new, sometimes reminding us of what we had forgot, or sometimes we have read a verse, passage, and maybe even years later we see something we had not seen before. He has illuminated the Word to us and we “see” clearly. Other times we read and are reminded of other verses on the subject and it helps us connect them together and gives us insight, wisdom to apply in a matter or something of the character of God and it gives us a new appreciation, understanding, insight into the knowledge of God, the ways of God and relationship with God. He is guiding us progressively into the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and His glorious Person, work, will. The Holy Spirit’s message and ministry is truth. NOTE. The Spirit of God’s message is not to point to Himself but to Jesus Christ! Jesus says The Holy Spirit will testify, bear witness to Him!- {John 15:26}. Two reasons for the Scriptures is to Reveal Jesus Christ to us {Luke 24:27} and Glorify Jesus Christ. And we have The Spirit of Truth to “Guide”us to that end! What grace!
We are never on our own when we come to His Word but we have Him to guide us and explain to us what we are reading and looking at, as a Guide in a castle or mansion house or art gallery may take and explain to those who are entering into the location and need guidance, knowledge, insight into what they are looking at, be it pictures, or to know the history of the building and events associated with it. So the Holy Spirit is our Divine Guide, and He guides us in Divine Truth, The Word of God.{John 17:17}, and in doing so, that the Name, FAME, Glory of Jesus Christ is the goal and the end!
The Holy Spirit who is the Spirit of Truth Guides us in Truth to the One who is Truth, The LORD JESUS who said,”I AM…the TRUTH..,” through the Word of TRUTH {Read John 17:17} and we are to view life, thinking and dwelling on “whatever is “TRUE,”and DOING the TRUTH {Read Phil 4:8-9}.”If you continue in My Word, you are truly disciples of Mine, and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.” -{John 8:31-32}
Free from slaves to sin, {John 8:31-32}
Free from spiritual death,-{Rom 6:22 }
Free to live new life.-{Rom 6:22}
Free…for eternal life. -{Rom 6:22-23}
Free from condemnation.- {Rom 8:1-2}.
Free to Lovingly serve others. -{Gal 5:13-15}.
Free to know Him who is TRUE-{1 John 5:20}
Free to serve God.-{1 Peter 2:16}.
Freed By Jesus Christ -“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. “-{Gal 5:1}
Jesus came to preach the Message of Freedom to those in spiritual bondage.-{Luke 4:18}
As His Freed people we are to be the people who think on TRUTH and deal with others by practicing lives of TRUTH from motivations of Truth “…for Jesus sake”-{2 Cor 4:5}. We are to be a TRUTHFUL People and we can be as we are His Freed people!
So we read our Bible, to know Him better, {Read Luke 24:27, Phil 3;10} meditating upon His Word -{Psalm 1:2} and asking Him to “Guide” us more and more into the knowledge of our Lord Jesus and His unfathomable riches! {Read Eph 3:8; 2 Peter 3:18} We also read in order to DO His Word and in doing so expressing love to Him who first loved us .-{Read James 1;22′ John 14:21}. The Holy Spirit not only “Guides” us but empowers us to know and live out truth! Amazing grace!

Christ’s Glory, His chief end!
Are you Truth centered, Am I? Christ centered? Christ’s Glory your chief end in whoever you find yourself with or whatever circumstance you find yourself in? Am I? We can be! That is the great news. We can be. This is God’s design and desire and He has given us the Holy Spirit’s to guide and develop us and His means of doing so? His Truth, His Word…keep staying in His Word. “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.”
The Holy Spirit is at work IN you, developing attitudes and actions to be a person who is…
