My wife recently texted me while I was laying in bed for days on end with pain and weakness, from my my muscle disease. She was texting from a store asking if I NEEDED ANYTHING. I replied “See if you can get me a new body:)” She replied she didn’t think they sold those!
“But God…” has a new body prepared for me and you, Paul wrote of it in 1 Cor 15:42-42. While this present body we are in is decaying from the moment of birth,”corruptible” is what Paul says about it, the body God has prepared for us is “INCORRUPTIBLE!” No decay, no limitations by time, no growing old, senile, sick, weak, decaying and dying! We not only have an “inheritance that is un-defiled”-“…PRAISE God,…By His great mercy, He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an INHERITANCE that is INCORRUPTIBLE {imperishable,} undefiled, and unfading, reserved in heaven for you, who through faith are protected by God’s power…”-{1 Peter 1:3-5} .. We have a new body that is INCORRUPTIBLE, where neither sin, sickness, satan, death can have any dominion or influence. No Decay. No Death. INCORRUPTIBLE! And He says it is a GLORIFIED Body! “We shall be LIKE HIM”-{1 John 3;3}…” …will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like His GLORIOUS BODY.“-{Phil 3:21}… and instead of “weakness” of our present body, and the grave shows how weak it is, as it cannot get up, respond, yet we will have He says a body that is POWERFUL and SPIRITUAL, for our new sphere. We presently live in a sphere of Decay. Everyone you see is in a state of decay, their bodies are dying, “BUT GOD…” has promised His people of the effects of The Resurrection of His Son that we too will rise and be fitted for eternity with New Resurrected Bodies! What a glorious thought that is! This present body is temporal, it breaks down easily, has limitations. But the Body He has prepared for us is eternal and no deficiencies, sickness, disabilities, decay, death or sin attached or controlling it. A Perfect Body prepared by The Perfect Savior awaits you and me who are “In Christ!”
” ….in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable,and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

Presently Dr.’s have set two goals for me physically to be able to “function” daily been one of them and it is not happening, not from lack of effort, “BUT God…” will not have to experiment to see if “something” might work to help relieve my pain and control the disease, and give relief. For He has prepared a new body for a new realm where Christ dwells, where there will be no need of sun nor moon for He Himself will illumine all around HIM and we will be with Him and these new bodies will aid us in serving, worshiping Him for ever and ever. It will never tire, breakdown, forget, grow old, or spiritually cold but equipped for eternity by the Eternal God it will be Perfect! “But in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died.”-{1 Cor 15:20}.” But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for Him to return as our Savior. He will take our weak mortal bodies and AND CHANGE THEM into GLORIOUS BODIES LIKE HIS OWN, using the same power with which He will bring everything under His control.”-{Phil 3:20-21}
No, maybe a store cant give me a new body “BUT CHRIST…” can and will. It will be tailor made for a new sphere, a heavenly, holy Sphere where Christ reigns. He is Someone To Look forward to…and a new Body fitted out to Meet Him with, perfectly provided for Him, that cost Him His life to provide it for me, and you- Amazing love! The depths He went to, for you and me.
It is good to THINK on Him, His Word and a future that He guarantees and it fuels our faith in the present, to be about His business…

May your spirit be “renewed” today ” namely, with fresh “grace” (2Co 4:15), and “faith” (2Co 4:13), and hope (2Co 4:17, 18).
Being renewed – The process of inner renewal parallels the ongoing process of external decay. Wuest paraphrases it “being changed into a new kind of life (fit for the new spiritual existence into which we have been ushered in salvation, and constantly being conformed to the image of the Lord Jesus)” This process of renewal begins with our new birth or regeneration and is consummated at our glorification.
“BEING RENEWED “ the word speaks of a new continuous quality of life., as opposed to the old sinful, depraved way of living. We are Being Renewed by the Spirit of God-{Read 2 Cor 3:18; Eph 3:16} inwardly, our thinking is being changed, conformed to Him… this process began at the new birth and may you be with word of a future hope of being with Him and receiving from Him a body that is Incorruptible,{v42}; Glorious, {v43} Powerful,{v43} and Spiritual {v44} – { 1 Cor 15:}.
Let your MIND Dwell on Him Who has promised!
