God is the God of all Hope. God Wants you to live out His Hope.
If you read no further than this first paragraph please read…”Hope Provider versus hope Robber”- HOPE THROUGH HIS WORD.
” These things were written that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scripture, we might have Hope” – ( Rom 15:4).
NOTE. One purpose of the Scriptures is you may be encouraged and have HOPE… So why do you think you are so opposed to reading MEDITATING, memorizing, and Applying His Word? Because it is God’s source of HOPE!!! You don’t need hope? Then stay away from it! Madness right ! So come ask Him for Hope as He has promised !!!
Read these verses underlining ” Hope from GOD ..” Don’t be robbed…RECEIVE HIS PROVISION OF HOPE… Through His Word by His Spirit…
Romans 15:13 ” The God of All Hope.” Literally “of THE Hope. “not, “a,” as one in many but “THE” hope. He is Author and provider, abundantly, endless Hope for you to avail of. His Hope is an eternal reservoir. Hope, confident expectation in Him!
1.- HOPE FOR OUR SIN;
When we sin there is hope. If it is a sin issue, there is Hope from Him to rescue, deliver, saving you from it.- “And you shall call His Name Jesus and He shall save His people from their sins.” -Matt 1:21
2.- HOPE WHEN WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO;
There is the hope of Wisdom to you, to ask of Him. It is actually a command and as you believe Him for it, you will receive from Him, wisdom! – “If anyone lacks wisdom let him ASK of God, and it will be given him, but let him ask in faith .”- Jam 1:5-6
3. – HOPE WHEN WE FAIL;
When we are faithless there is still Hope to be found in Him. “if we are faithless, He remains faithful, He cannot deny Himself! – 2 Tim 2:13
4. – HOPE WHEN WE DESPAIR;
“Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.-Psalm 43:5. Note despair, does not have the final say, you can CHOOSE to trade it in for HOPE, God’s HOPE, and you will PRAISE HIM, Hope in “MY SAVIOR, …MY GOD,” He had a personal relationship, he uses the word “my.” He had imparted him the power to exchange Hope for despair as He has you and me!
5. – HOPE WHEN WE SUFFER;
“Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”-{Romans 5:3-5}
6.- HOPE COMES FROM GOD;
“May the God of ALL HOPE fill you with all joy and peace in believing SO THAT YOU may overflow with Hope by the Power of the Holy Spirit. – Rom 15:13
7. – HOPE DOES NOT DISAPPOINT;
“…Because the LOVE of God has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit – Rom 5:5
8. HIS HOPE IS ACCOMPANIED WITH JOY, AND PEACE, AND OVERFLOWS WITH HOPE;
“…SO THAT YOU MAY OVERFLOW BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.” Rom 15:13}
9. – GOD WILL NOT LEAVE YOU WITHOUT HOPE;
Whether it is a Sin issue, Failure, not knowing what to Do, Despair, Suffering… He supplies “THE HOPE” for each of these situations for You! The Spirit of God and His Word -Lead and Leave you with Hope. You Lead and leave others with the God of all Hope. Hide these verses above and be able to offer people hope from them! Always leave people with hope!
10.- HOPE HAS A NAME- GOD!
And God wants you to have His hope.
- He imparts it from His Spirit {Rom 15:13}.
- He imparts through His Word{Rom 15:4}.
- Let His Word in you, read it, meditate upon it, yield to it, receive from it…
What robs us of His Hope? We Do!
We substitute “hope,” with false hopes of materialism, ideologies, and vain philosophies. We allow the system of the world and the cares of the world to influence us. We listen to evil thoughts to mistrust God, doubt God and act independently of Him and lean to our own understanding and not trust Him. We rob ourselves by treating His Word lightly, and a “something to do,” on a checklist rather than Some One to meet with and know! We rob ourselves! “Man shall not live by bread alone but by EVERY Word that proceeds from the mouth of God!” “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. His DELIGHT is in it and he MEDITATES DAY AND NIGHT…Let the Word of Christ dwell in you RICHLY…Prove yourselves to be Doers of His Word…Like new born babes DESIRE the Word so that by it you may GROW…” Are you growing in HOPE, Confidence, and assurance in Him? Are you digesting His Word, meditating, renewing your mind, and applying it? It does not mean you have to read huge quantities but it does mean taking, digesting it, and meditating upon it and it can nourish your soul and give hope that is guaranteed, eternally so to your mind and heart, and applying it to your life.
Read These verses regarding His Word. NOTE in the verses if there is anything to beware of, avoid, lay aside and replace with His Word…{Matthew 4:4; Rom 10:13; Psalm 1:2; Col 3:15-16; James 1:21-22 1 Peter 2;1-2; Rom 12:1-2}.
REST, RECEIVE, RELY upon the GOD OF ALL HOPE!
