“Praise the Lord!
For it is good to sing praises to our God;
For it is pleasant and praise is becoming.
 The Lord builds up Jerusalem;
He gathers the outcasts of Israel.
 He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds.
 He counts the number of the stars;
He gives names to all of them.”-{Psalm 147:1-4}

“PRAISE the LORD” –{v1}- It is a command and a verb, meaning it is continuous and look at the reasons for what “HE” does…

He Builds up – the ransacked city- Jerusalem- {v1}

He Gathers- the “outcasts”- {v 2}

He Heals – the brokenhearted- {v3}

He Binds up – their wounds – {v3}

He Determines – the number of stars. – {v4}

He Calls – Each of The Stars by Name -{v4}

Note  ‘WHY’ Praise in verse 1, aside from it being a command,… note the 3 things which I have highlighted…

“Praise the Lord. How good it is to sing praises to our God,
how pleasant and fitting to praise Him! “-{Psalm 147:1}.

It is GOOD to Praise the LORD,…So, PRAISE HIM

It is PLEASANT to Praise The LORD, …So, PRAISE Him!

It is FITTING to Praise The LORD,…So, PRAISE Him!

“PRAISE THE LORD!”
