“Let not your heart be troubled, believe in God, Keep believing in Me.”-{John 14:1},
Jesus had said He would be leaving them and they could not come with Him. He had said He would be deserted, but His GRACE shines through beforehand as He shares with them in the midst of fear, failure, shame why not to allow their hearts to be disturbed, agitated like the waves of the sea, simply by choosing not unbelief, but trusting Him! One reason He gives for them is to FOCUS on their FUTURE,”In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also”-{v 2-3}. It is HIS CHARACTER, which is to be the Pillow of Rest for them.
Their failure does not negate His PROMISE. He has a PLACE For them, He Has a PROMISE He will Return to get them and He has a PERMANENT Position where they will be- their FUTURE…”I will receive you to Myself, that where I Am, THERE YOU may be also.”
TRUTH FOR THE TEMPTATIONS TO YIELD TO TROUBLED HEART? His Grace is Greater than your failure, fears, shame! His Promises He carry’s out. Let not your hearts yield to the temptation to allow yourself to be agitated like the troubled sea, BUT YOU choose to Keep believing in the LORD JESUS… Who is Greater than your failures, fears, who is GRACIOUS, who is committed to you with love and Provision, Promises, and Personal assurance for you to know you have a glorious FUTURE with Him in the Father’s house. THINK on TRUTH. THANK Him for the Truth… your failures DO NOT Affect your Future. He, who arose from the dead PROMISES it! FOCUS on HIM and His GRACIOUSNESS, Mercy, Promises, Provision and His Person! Your greatest failures, sin do not deter your Glorious Future because He says so! Take HOPE in God!
When is the last time in the midst of the temptations to yield to a troubled heart you have CHOSEN to THINK on your GLORIOUS RISEN LORD Who has secured a GLORIOUS FUTURE for you? How often do you THINK on Your Future with Him? “Absent from the body present with the LORD… In HIS Presence is fullness of joy and at HIS right hand pleasures forever more…For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. But if I am to live on in the flesh, this will mean fruitful labor for me; and I do not know ]which to choose. But I am hard-pressed from both directions, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, for that is very much better; …”
YOUR FUTURE IS GLORIOUS!
YOUR FUTURE IS A PERSON.
YOUR FUTURE IS TO BE PERMANENTLY WITH HIM!
STOP ALLOWING YOURSELF to be troubled of heart, AGITATED, IN THE STATE OF CONFUSION.You have the power to, by His Grace! BEGIN with THINKING RIGHT… TURN Your THINKING ON HIM and THE TRUTH REVEALED about Him. You do believe God, Keep on believing in the Resurrected, Eternally Triumphant King of Love, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. He loves you. Rest assured, your failures, fears, shame do not deter your Glorious FUTURE with Him!
Think on Him… Trust Him…Praise Him… Share Him!
