New Creation – {2 Corinthians 5:17}

YOU ARE NEW!
“Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!”-{2 Cor 5:17-Amplified}.

“NEW”- not in time but “new” in quality and new in creation! It is NOT Renovation, as though you get an old piece of furniture and work on it and take the old and make it look better. Neither is it not turning over a “new leaf,” but bringing into being something that did not exist before! But, a New Creation! You are NEW! You have a NEW relationship with God, that you never had before, perhaps you had been religious maybe, but did not have a relationship that was personal with God through Jesus Christ. You were spiritually dead and He made you spiritually alive!

2- NEW Direction- “for me to LIVE is Christ…And He died for all, that those who LIVE should NO LONGER LIVE FOR THEMSELVES BUT FOR HIM who died for THEM and was raised again…I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ LIVES in me. The life I now LIVE in the body, I LIVE by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”- {Phil 1:21;2 Cor 5:14-15; Gal 2:20} *NOTE- how many times”live” is mentioned!

3– NEW Destination – HEAVEN! ” Father, I desire that where I Am,that they be with Me also, to behold My Glory.”-{John 17:24}

4 – NEW Location – “…IN CHRIST.” There are two spiritual spheres either “in Adam,” or “In Christ.” All are born “in Adam,” with the sinful nature of a person not in right relationship with God, impotent to make themselves right with God, dead in sin, “BUT GOD, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places IN CHRIST JESUS,.”- {Eph 2:4-6}.

5 -NEW Standing – “Therefore having been justified… WE STAND IN GRACE…”-{Rom 5:1-2}. The sphere you stand in is not one of condemnation for HE BORE ALL your condemnation , but you STAND permanently, eternally, irrevocably in the favor and power and pleasure of God!

You are not spiritually who you were, you are “NEW CREATION!”

6- NEW Purpose – He brought you into being, which includes His purpose….” for good works, which He has designed for you.”-{Eph 2:10} . And these “good works” have an ultimate goal!’ That men may see your GOOD WORKS and GLORIFY Your FATHER in Heaven”-{Matt 5}

YOU ARE HIS WORK OF ART!

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”- {Eph 2;10}.

“Workmanship,” is where we get our English word Poem, masterpiece from. It refers to something that is constructed, manufactured, poem. You are HIS POETIC MASTERPIECE, you are not a piece of junk, useless, or any other lie the evil one would whisper or use others to call you. You are HIS MASTERPIECE, HIS POEM. God planned, designed and brought into being this new lif for you through His SON, it was not an accident but with wisdom, power and love you were brought into this NEW LOVE Relationship.

7- NEW POWER TO LIVE- ” God has given us EVERYTHING pertaining to LIFE and GODLINESS.” -{2 Pet 1:4}.

You are God’s Work of art. His masterpiece. He planned, shaped, brought you into being and made you spiritually alive and you are brand NEW in your standing , relationship with Him!

YOU ARE “NEW creation in Christ!!  THINK of yourself as He  says of you! STOP thinking of yourself as who He says you are not!
