Looking away to Jesus- From ever changing “feelings”
Looking away to Jesus- From Failures
Looking away to Jesus – to His Immutability and blood!

Martin Luther wrote, “feelings come and feelings go and feelings are deceiving, my trust is in the Written Word nought else is worth believing!” Our Hope is in a Person not in how we “feel” or don’t “feel” Faith in Him and His Word! How we “feel” or “don’t” is not our anchor or an indication of God’s favor. Jesus is. His Word our final authority and He Himself the anchor for our soul!

We can learn from our failures but we must not linger looking to them as there is no future in the past failure. There is hope in Jesus to walk on. Think on the truth {see Phil 4:8} and Practice the truth {See Phil 4:9

We are to fix our attention on Jesus. In those moments you have “free” from work, school, home choose to train you mind to think on Him, He is “the same yesterday today and forever…” Think on His blood that makes it possible for you to approach God as your loving gracious Heavenly Father. Think on His blood that cleanses continually from all sins. “Jesus thy blood and righteousness, my beauty are my glorious dress, midst flaming worlds in these arrayed, with joy shall I lift up my head.”-{Nikalous Von Zinzendorf- 1739}
