God- the One who spoke the world into existence – is for you!
God who opened the Red Sea and made a way of escape for His people – is for you!
God who provided a sacrifice for Abraham- is for you!
God who enabled David to defeat Goliath – is for you!
God who so loved you He sent His only begotten Son that you should not perish and die in your sin –is for you!
God who had His Son bear His wrath for your sin- is for you!
God who is able to provide for all of your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ- is for you!
God who upholds all things by the power of His Word – is for you!
Circumstances may or may not change “BUT GOD…” who is unchanging – He is – for – you!
When you “feel” down, and the evil one accuses you of LIES with telling you that you are worthless- refuse to embrace the lie, and respond with the truth of Romans 8:31-why? God- is for you!
When you have failed, feel ashamed, embarrassed, if ostracized, know- God- is with you and forever – for you!
When death comes and you draw your last breath know- He who is for you, will greet you to forever be with Him because He- is for you!
BEWARE OF THE “PERFORMANCE TRAP,”
Personalize it – God Is For ME! Always eternally so. Not when you are doing well, but in all times, circumstances. His love for you is His settled conviction towards you Nothing and no one can Separate you from the Love of God because of the work of Jesus Christ on your behalf GOD IS FOR YOU! How difficult is it for you to believe this? Do you find it easier to believe when you are doing well in your estimation, “performing” well, more so than when you have blown it and sinned, and that somehow, God is not and cannot be for you? If so, you are living by a merit system, If I do well God is for me, if I don’t then I get de- merits and the attitude is- “there is no way God could love me or be for me.” You have fallen back into the “trap’ of performance orientated to try and win God’s acceptance when you already are “….accepted In THE BELOVED.”-{Eph 1:6}. You end up living a “works salvation”…. it’s a trap! It’s a false mindset that is worked out in works orientated salvation rather than the grace of GOD, motivated by the love of GOD for you. His grace is not a green light to do what we want and sin as much as we want for His grace works in us teaching, training ….”For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.” – {Titus 2:11-14}
True, our sin grieves Him, but there is NEVER a moment when He is not for you. His Son bore all your sin, past, present, and future and knowing all about it still determined to go to that Cross and God accepted His sacrifice and He was raised on the third Day and declares with His sinless sacrifice that…GOD IS FOR YOU!!
GOD IS FOR YOU!
TODAY KNOW WHATEVER COMES YOUR WAY, GOD IS WITH YOU AND GOD – IS FOR YOU!
Today, you can do all things through Christ who infuses you with strength. Why? Because GOD- IS FOR YOU!
