Look out for the needs of others and Help them if you have the means and opportunity to do so!- ” Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” -{ Gal 6:10}
At times it is not because we do not have the means or the opportunity but we do not have the loving heart to do so! And we give the impression that we do not know Him personally, by doing so!-{Read 1 John 3:16-17}
We cling to possessions rather than cherishing people!
Let that not be true of us for LOVE is of God…and we are called to love one another! And in these days of fear and greed and hoarding and anxiety let us be who we have the capacity to be … and love Others,Paul said, “….ourselves Your Servants… for Jesus sake.”-{Read 2 Cor 4:5}. We are Servants of Christ, not in name or theory only but in reality, our high position, privilege and we have the ability, mandate to love others by serving them! People need reality, they need us to be whom we have been called to be and have the capacity to be as those who genuinely LOVE Others!!
LOVING one another is a choice to deny yourself and prefer others by placing them above yourself. Seeking their good and nothing in return, but for their benefit and His glory as your motivation in doing so!Let us be known for what Jesus says His disciples will be known by…”By This all men will KNOW you are My disciples by your love for one another…”-{John 13:34-35}
Loving others means HELPING OTHER PEOPLE…”This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.“-{1 John 3:16-18}
Love is as simple as SEEING and MEETING A NEED! And in doing so you are letting your light shone and people “SEE your Good works and GLORIFY YOUR FATHER in heaven.”-{Matt 5:16}.
Love is an action… and TESTIFIES We KNOW Him and We BELONG to Him… and others as a result of SEEING your good works GLORIFY Him! These are days we need not to hide our light but seek to shine our light with deeds of LOVE! Pray and ask Him to SEE an opportunity and DO GOOD! LOVE OTHERS…”…FOR JESUS SAKE”-{2 Cor 4:5}.
