“ENCOURAGE “- to come alongside to strengthen someone ! {Heb 3:13}
1.- I am personally Responsible to encourage others TODAY!
We have so many means to do so, by phone, text, email, face to face, telling people you have been thinking, praying specifically for them. Paul wrote a letters to Various churches and specifically told them WHAT he was praying for them, {Read Phil 1:3-5,9-11; Col 1:9-14.} In Philippians 4:1 he tells them SPECIFICALLY what they mean to him. He tells them through letter that he
“Loves them
Longs for them
They are his Joy, his crown!”
How hard it is for us, me, you-to tell others specifically what we are thankful to God for, in their lives? Paul ENCOURAGED them by taking TIME. It takes Purposely THINKING. It takes Thoughtfulness, consideration, APPLICATION TO REACH OUT TO OTHERS and ENCOURAGE THEM! He was imprisoned and yet his thoughts were on the welfare of OTHERS. Paul was shackled in prison and yet his love reaches out to others. Love always reaches out to come alongside others to strengthen, comfort, encourage them.
PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY;
“WE” Are told that “we” each are responsible to “stimulate, spur one another on to love, good deeds, ENCOURAGEMENT!”-{HEB 10:23-25}
” Day after day as long as it is called TODAY, ENCOURAGE one another…..”– {Hebrews 3:13}
FOR each of us according to the above verses,”WE” each need to heed the Word of the Living God and take personal responsibility by faith to obey. Our motto daily must include , THINKING, And APPLICATION of -” I am PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE to ENCOURAGE others TODAY.”
THINK of someone TODAY you can encourage through WORDS, and WORKS. REACH OUT and DO Encourage someone Today, according to the above verses it is His will!
Don’t wait to be encouraged. Reach out, YOU take the initiative and take TIME,THOUGHT, AND ACTION- BE a Barnabas Today!
