Caught it seems in between youth, adults not exactly taking you serious, but does God do likewise? Too young to be used by God?

1.- COURAGEOUSLY SUBMITTED;

Three Hebrew youths under threat of being burned alive said “If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. But even if He does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”-{Daniel 3:17-18}. They would not compromise their allegiance to God! They were Courageously committed under pressure to compromise. They had “lost” their lives before they were thrown in the fire by THEIR STATEMENT OF of FAITH! “But even if He does not.. we want you to know.. WE WILL NOT SERVE YOUR gods or Worship the image of god you set up!” THEY HAD DIED TO THEIR LIFE IN THIS WORLD SO TO LIVE FOR GOD AND IN THE CRISIS OF THEIR FAITH THEY COURAGEOUSLY CHOSE …HIM! In times of temptation and crisis of faith, you have the courage to choose Him daily denying yourself for His honor, Name and Fame!

2. – CHARACTER DEVELOPING AND DISPLAYING ;

Paul gives young Timothy insight in regards his youth. In those times opinions of youth were discarded . Paul assures him what they cannot ignore is CHARACTER. AND TO Focus on these, “Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.”– {1 Tim 4:12}

3. – CONFORMING TO AND COMMUNICATING SCRIPTURE;

As a young Boy Jesus had gone up to Jerusalem for the Feast of the Passover with Joseph and Mary. He was twelve years old. -{Luke 2:42}, He went missing, Joseph and Mary returned and found him sitting listening to the teachers and asking questions… and we see He as a TWELVE YEAR old child was about His Fathers business {v v49}

A. He Listened to the SCRIPTURES- {Luke 2:42,}

“After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers. When his parents saw him, they were astonished. His mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you.” “Why were you searching for me?” he asked. “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?”-{Luke 2:46-49}

B. He was TEACHING them the Scriptures. He was passing on what they needed. God’s Word, The Scriptures! For the knowledge of sin comes through them-{Rom 7:7}; The knowledge of Salvation comes through them.. and this Timothy knew from a child, “and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”- { 2 Tim 3:15} Jesus “grew” in wisdom{v 40}… He grew in knowledge as a child.. so hiding His Word in a child’s heart is following in His steps and as with the LORD Jesus using it as it is able to bring an awareness of sin and the knowledge of how to be saved. From a child to youth you can hide His Word and use it for your own life to learn f Him and love Him and to Love others and testify to Him using His Word… and the sweetness of Scripture and some of my favorites,

The Scripture Reveals Jesus Christ;

“Now He said to them, “These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.” Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures,”-{Luke 24:44-45}

“They said to one another, “Were not our hearts burning within us while He was speaking to us on the road, while He was explaining the Scriptures to us?”“-{Luke 24:32}… the result that very night they returned to Jerusalem to tell the disciples JESUS IS ALIVE… They were testifying og Jesus Christ….

So, from Scripture, you are NOT TOO YOUNG TO BE USED BY GOD!

Parents, Grandparents, teachers, do NOT Grow weary investing your time and life into young ones, for in his time His Spirit can use the Word to first convince them of sin against God and then show them how to be saved by faith in the LORD Jesus alone! and from there are able to “equip them for every good work”-{Read 2 Tim 3:16-17}.

Christ Reveals Himself through the Scripture by His Spirit!

4. – COMPETENT

“Such confidence before God is ours through Christ.Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim that anything comes from us, but our competence comes from God.“-{2 Cor 3:4-5}. Your competency for living the Christian life is not in yourself BUT IN God who is your sufficiency, Savior and His Spirit will enlighten His Word to you and empower you!!!

“The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person.”-{Eccl 12:13}

YOU CAN BE…

  1. COURAGEOUSLY COMMITTED
  2. CHARACTER DEVELOPING AND DISPLAYING AS A TESTIMONY!
  3. CONFORMING AND COMMUNICATING SCRIPTURE- WHICH IS ALL SUFFICIENT FOR YOU- AND THOSE YOU SHARE WITH…AND IS AGE APPROPRIATE!!
  4. COMPETENT…

YOU ARE JUST THE RIGHT AGE HAVING BEEN BROUGHT INTO THIS WORLD BY HIM FOR HIM AND THIS TIME TO SERVE HIS PURPOSE IN THE CIRCUMSTANCES YOU FIND YOURSELF IN AND WILL!
