It is a battle, a spiritual battle for the souls of people, and ultimately the worship of the LORD Jesus Christ is what the battle is over, by every soul whom He made and died for.
It’s not a matter, will you worship, ascribe,”worth-ship” to, but what or whom you worship? Everyone worships something or someone, which they hold in highest esteem, pursue, promote, live and think about above all else!
When the devil tempted Jesus what was it he ultimately wanted?… Worship! he said “If you fall down {the picture of submission} and Worship ME, I will give you all these things.”-{Matt 4:9 } More than anything else he wanted, craved and still does is to be worshiped above all, and indeed to have God’s Son worship him. We live in a world where people want to be worshiped, want the glory, want the power, the recognition which is rightfully due to God and God alone! Heaven shows who is worshiped, it is Him…
WORSHIP HIM AS CREATOR;
“the twenty-four elders fall down and WORSHIP THE ONE SITTING ON THE THRONE (the one who lives forever and ever). And they lay their crowns before the throne and say,
“You are worthy, O Lord our God,
to receive glory and honor and power.
For you created all things,
and they exist because You created what you pleased.” ” – { Rev 4:10-11}
WORSHIP HIM AS REDEEMER;
“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing!” And I heard every creature in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be praise and honor and glory and power forever and ever!” And the four living creatures said, “Amen,” and the elders fell down and WORSHIPED.…” -{Rev 5;12-14}
THE BATTLE IS FOR…YOUR… WORSHIP…
Who is Worthy to be Worshiped, Submitted to and Served and to receive the Glory and honor from your life? satan desires it, the world system promotes it for itself and people pursue it but only GOD DESERVES it!
Worship of God is a great cry and incentive for EVANGELISM... For He is worthy that all people everywhere worship… HIM! And as long as someone lives who does not worship Him gives us reason to pray, give and go tell about Him so He may receive worship which He rightly deserves and is worthy of!
