We are living in wonderful times for the Gospel… and we have the life changing message …
His message is unchanging !
“..but now GOD commands ALL PEOPLE EVERYWHERE to REPENT” -(Acts 17:30) There are NO Exceptions!
“… they must TURN to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus.”-( Acts 20:21)
No repentance. No forgiveness !
When JESUS arose from the dead and was commissioning His disciples “He said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day, and that REPENTANCE FOR forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to ALL the nations, “-(Luke 24:47:-47)
Today with the world shaking and being brought to its knees. When idols are being exposed and deposed GOD HAS SPOKEN IN HIS WORD and His COMMAND is that all people everywhere should REPENT of their living for self, sin and place their faith in Jesus Christ for forgiveness of sins…. what mercy He imparts and what privilege His people have to in gentleness share with others everywhere His message – Repent! Some pulpits have avoided preaching repentance yet God commands it!
People are hurting, scared “ But God…” who saved us gives us the privilege to share what He has and does say … that all people everywhere should REPENT!
GOD’S MESSAGE AND ACTS OF KINDNESS;
God is kind and His kindness is meant to have an effect…
“Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?”-{Rom 2:4} The NLT translates it this way….”Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that His kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?”{Rom 2:4} Kindness is an attribute, expression of His love for all people…
The Alternative To Repentance ? Jesus said,”UNLESS YOU Repent you too will PERISH”-( Luke 13:3)
GOD’S MESSAGE TO THE NATIONS IS THE SAME TODAY.
All who are born die either “in Christ” or in sin like in the days of Noah when God flooded the earth, there were those safe and secure “in the ark” and those outside. People die daily, hourly world wide since time began and people continue dying in sin and the message is one of kindness, REPENT toward God an place your faith in Jesus Christ submitting to Him as Savior to save,rescue
Rescue from the penalty of sin;-,”The wages of sin is death”-{Rom 6:23}
Rescue from the control of satan; -“With gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will. -{ 2 Tim 2:25-26]
and Rescue from the Wrath of God to come -“The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness,”-{Rom 1:18}
RESCUE “FROM” AND RESCUES, SAVED “TO”…
and find eternal life, “But the FREE Gift of GOD is Eternal Life in Christ Jesus our LORD” {Rom 6:23}. Friendship in Jesus CHRIST and the forgiveness of all sin!
Just as Noah and family were safe IN the ark so those who repent turn to God and submit to Him are safe IN Christ!
LOOK OUT FOR THE SOULS OF THOSE IN DARKNESS AND SHARE Compassionately, God’s timeless word to them – REPENT!
“The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but FOR ALL all to come to repentance.”-{2 Peter 3:9}.
The wonderful message is God calls us to REPENT and those who do He will not reject…Today is the DAY to repent and place your faith in our LORD Jesus Christ. Share His Good Message with people of God’s kindness and provision.
God loves people the cross of His Son shows it and He calls people to eternal safety “In Christ” and it begins when people become aware that their sin has offended God and they do a U Turn, turning to God from self rule and sin and surrender to His Son and place their faith in Him ALONE to rescue them, forgive, bring them into a new relationship with God and secure them for eternity AS Noah was safe “in the Ark” so our souls are eternally safe “In Christ”
