“Sticks and stones will break my bones but names will never hurt me” so goes the old rhyme, but it is not so.
Put-downs and hurtful words can have a devastating effect on us, if we let them. Paul shows us five words from Colossians which God calls us… which will never hurt us. We would do well to think on them and receive His words that we might be built up in our faith.
