1 Peter 1:1-12
Peter is writing to people who are experiencing “fiery trials,” Their pain is real, the circumstances are horrific but in the midst Peter begins with the Greatness of God and the magnificent salvation which has been given to these dear followers of Christ who are undergoing intense persecution.
Peter teaches us a valuable lesson, in the midst of trials to turn our minds to the truth of who God is and what he has done for us to enable us to think on the truth and be strengthened by it in the midst of our own suffering.
Peter teaches us how to minister to those who suffer and how to encourage and celebrate Gods Great salvation in the midst of pain.
