NEW PATTERN– “ Let all be done in love”- {1 Cor 16:14;} Love is not based on a “feeling,” but a choice of our will, influenced by the knowledge of God’s Word, empowered by His indwelling Spirit, to develop a NEW PATTERN of Living out a Life of Love.“This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”- {1 John 3:16-18}. Love is as simple as meeting a need! The man left lying in a ditch and two men, who had Scriptural knowledge chose to walk the other side of the road and left him. They had knowledge about God but did not show forth the love of God! Then a man came, the good Samaritan, he saw, he stopped, he stooped and took care of the man. He took him to safety and provided for him, and even said when he returned from his journey if the injured man needed anything he would take care of it. This is what it means to LOVE OTHERS! Love is a verb, it is an action! Living Lovingly. Denying ourselves in order to prefer others, “…ourselves yourself, for Jesus sake.”-{2 Cor 4:5}.
Love is the New Pattern for Living. And what ever you do, you do from a heart motivated by love! Love is a life of loving, sacrificially, unconditionally expressing a life of loving deeds!
