 Have you ever had to make a decision and the Scripture does not specifically speak to the issue you are having to decide on? Perhaps it is a habit you are Presently wrestling with, or a relationship, business venture you are considering? Below are some Principles to help you ask of yourself in regards those areas which the Scripture does not specifically speak to … those “gray” areas … or those areas where you just need to align up with Godly principles… I hope these will be an encouragement to you, as you endeavor to know and do Gods will – because you love Him!

7 STEPS TO KNOWING and Doing Gods Will. MAKING BIBLICAL DECISIONSIn regards habits, decisions made or about to be made

ASK THESE QUESTIONS OF THE SCRIPTURES, AS you contemplate the choices you need to make that would most Glorify and Honor God.

 1. IS THIS PROFITABLE?1 Corinthians  6:12;  1 Corinthians 10:23 A

 2. AM I CONTROLLED BY THIS IN ANY WAY? 1 Corinthians 6:12a

 3. IS THIS A STUMBLING BLOCK IN MY LIFE Matthew 5:29,30; Matthew 18:8-9

 4. COULD THIS LEAD ANOTHER BELIEVER TO STUMBLE? Romans 14:13;
1 Corinthians 8:8-13

 5. DOES THIS EDIFY [Build others up]- Romans 14:9; 1 Corinthians 10:23,24

 6. WILL THIS CAUSE GOD TO BE GLORIFIED ? -Matthew 5:16; 1 Corinthians 10:31

 7. DOES THIS CONFLICT WITH ANY SCRIPTURE?– [The decision I am about to make];
–   Colossians 3:15
–   James 1:21
–   James 4:17

 God bless and encourage you to pursue that which most Honors Him for after all this is what we were created for-1 Cor 10:31 “whatever you do … do all for the Glory of God.”… God has given us His Word to help Govern and Guide our lives…

 Paul wrote to those in Colossians- Col 1:9-10
