Be assured from SCRIPTURE, Not Even Difficulties Can Hold You Down…for note this word of Hope to you, “ …we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about {Producing } perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”-{Rom 5:3-5}
Note, not even “tribulation” -“suffering,” great pressures, difficulties, hardships, the word is used in the NT to speak of external difficulties and emotional stress can keep you down but God wants you to know two things…
1.- He is using even these “tribulations” to develop you spiritually.
What seems to be severe and painful circumstances that seem to want to bury you, God will use as stepping stones to develop you in… “perseverance… proven character… hope that will not leave you ashamed…”
While tribulations may seem as anchors to pull you down and emotionally seek to drown you, God is using as stepping stones to spiritually develop.. and… display Himself to and through you! Sorrow and troubles do not have the final word in your life… the SAVIOR Does! And He is working all things including troubles for good…the conforming us to His Son’s image!
Tribulations may be IN your life but they are not OVER Your Life. Jesus Christ is LORD of and OVER your life!
2.- You are loved.
“…because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”-{Rom 5:5}. And not even “tribulations” can tear or hinder or sever His love for you! …because God’s love by His Spirit is poured out in our hearts, which is the assurance we are loved by Him! He LOVES… You!
God uses “Tribulations” to strengthen, develop your faith and to assure you that He loves you. And so we can “EXULT- glory boast, the word speaks of “joyful confidence” because of what “we know” about tribulations and what God is “bringing about”-{producing} in them for our good! –
Your Troubles in God’s hand are working for your good- not against you!
Submit to His Word, Trust Him with your troubles to bring about, produce, achieve spiritual development.
God is able to use your troubles for your Good.
