“Now Jesus had not yet entered the village, but was still at the place where Martha had met him.  When the Jews who had been with Mary in the house, comforting her, noticed how quickly she got up and went out, they followed her, supposing she was going to the tomb to mourn there. When Mary reached the place where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet and said, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.  When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, He was deeply moved in spirit and troubled.

“Where have you laid him?” He asked.

“Come and see, Lord,” they replied.

Jesus wept.

Then the Jews said, “See how He loved him!” – {John 11:34-36}

REAL MEN CRY; the Perfect Man did, Jesus  Christ.

Jesus wept with compassion for the heartache of others. He was neither indifferent nor callous to their pain, He was drawn towards the hurting ones with a heart of compassion. He loved!

God was glorified THROUGH their Sufferings. This DOES NOT mean one has to suffer for God to be glorified BUT IT DOES MEAN, GOD can use even suffering to bring glory from it to Himself. Your sufferings are NOT pointless in the hands of Jesus!

Jesus shows us real men do cry over the hurts of others and are neither embarrassed, ashamed or fearful of showing such demonstrations of empathy with  those who hurt. Jesus tears revealed the heart of God for the hurting. He was not indiferent, callous towards their pain and as Risen Lord, He is not so now. Hebrews 4: teaches as Great {Superioe High Preist He empathizes with us in our temptaions and wekaness.” The Word “Empathize” means,” feel the very feelings, you feel.'” His identifcation, compassion is genuine. When Stpehen was being stoned, Scripture says He STOOD. sSuch identification. When Saul of Tarsus was confronted on the road to DEMASCUS, Jesus from heaven, asked “Why do you persecute Me.” To touch His is to touch Him! He takes it personally. Your pain is not indifferent to Him. He is intimately acquainted with you For He was a Man of sorrows, acquainted with grief. When Jesus came and saw what had happened to Lazarus, and the pain of his siters, He was hurting anf wept.  For He loved him . His pain was genuine. Real men cry! Real me are compassionate. Sorrow moves the emotions but Compassion moves the will, to act and own the situation of another as if it is one’s own. Jesus was full of compassion. Jesus wept, His heart overflowed with tears so deep His concern and love for them.

The Perfect Man Cried. Real Men cry over the pain of others and Act upon that hurt and own it as their own to help!
